So we have Lewis beale Harry baker Harry Morgan Luke burbridge Jez Bedford Jack hoey Dan Bartlett All who can play if the 3/4 attacking potions, surely as nice a lad curt is or how long he’s been at the club they can’t all play and players will be sitting in the bench not playing. Best positions, just my opinion based on the numerous times I’ve seen them all play. Lewis Beale - Striker Harry Baker - Striker Burbs - Right wing or number 10 Bartlett - Number 10 or centre mid with Louis Harry Morgan - Number 10 Jack Hoey - Left Wing Jez Bedford - Right or Left Wing |

It’s irrelevant who I would have let go it’s all done now, need everyone looking out for a couple more signings as I’m only counting a squad of 14 players at the moment, it’s all coming together nicely, 4 more would be a result 👍 |

Aaron Roberts is a great signing - I thought he was excellent for us at the end of last season.
And don't forget to add Ben Scorey to Gemma's list.
I'd like to see a big central defender added to the squad.
I hope there'll be room for 2 or 3 of the youngsters developed through our youth teams - maybe Cam, Louis, Jake, Regan - they'll all be a year older and bigger.
The squad is looking really good - well done everyone involved.

Evening all, As you’ve seen we’ve had a good week or so with players coming in, Tom Parker trott or TPT as he’s known coming in in goal Ben Satterley coming in to add completion in cm Harry baker a well respected striker at this level Jack hoey another quality wide player Arnie, nothing needing to be said about this man Aaron Roberts coming in who can play in 3 positions All very good players who will be competing with the already agreed players for a starting places to give us much needed competition and strength to the team. Unfortunately we’ve had to let Curtis go, this was my decision and one that was incredibly tough to make, I have seen a few have disagreed with this but I felt with was right for the team with the players we have brought in in the same position he plays and I also felt that Curtis himself probably needed a change of club to continue his career. He has been nothing but fantastic to work with since I’ve been in charge and a pleasure to play with during my time with him as a player. This decision as I said was a really tough one and i wish him all the best going forward. We are a defender or two away from what I believe to be a strong side this season and we look forward to getting back to training soon. All the best Stokes |

Thanks for the update James.
That's a very open and honest post and I don't envy your position when you have to make these difficult decisions.
Really liking the look of the squad you are putting together, it looks very balanced and should be competitive, would probably have been good enough to survive in the league above last year, however that's water under the bridge.
