Evening all, As you’ve seen we’ve had a good week or so with players coming in, Tom Parker trott or TPT as he’s known coming in in goal Ben Satterley coming in to add completion in cm Harry baker a well respected striker at this level Jack hoey another quality wide player Arnie, nothing needing to be said about this man Aaron Roberts coming in who can play in 3 positions All very good players who will be competing with the already agreed players for a starting places to give us much needed competition and strength to the team. Unfortunately we’ve had to let Curtis go, this was my decision and one that was incredibly tough to make, I have seen a few have disagreed with this but I felt with was right for the team with the players we have brought in in the same position he plays and I also felt that Curtis himself probably needed a change of club to continue his career. He has been nothing but fantastic to work with since I’ve been in charge and a pleasure to play with during my time with him as a player. This decision as I said was a really tough one and i wish him all the best going forward. We are a defender or two away from what I believe to be a strong side this season and we look forward to getting back to training soon. All the best Stokes Who would want to be a Manager, Linesman or referee must get payed a fortune to take all the stick they do ! What I’m seeing week in week out watching Wimborne, as I’ve said and stick by it there are players that in my opinion don’t have the qualities that Curtis brings to the team, With the quality of players the club have signed up next season playing in this team will definitely improve everyone, Curtis would have also benefitted and improved playing and training with this new squad of players, but unfortunately as James has said he’s moving on to pastures new our loss someone else gain ! Looking forward to some additions, don’t want to wish the summer away yet ⛳️⚽️ |

Very honest post from James. The close season seems to be flying by and we've not even had any decent weather yet! Will probably be scorching on the opening day of next season like last August. Hearing all the discussions about taking the knee and further abject England performances makes one pine for the simple pleasures of non league footie!!

Saw him play for bashley about 15 years ago. He was at Farnborough when they beat us at there place last season.
He has had about 30 clubs! A quality signing for our level.

Definitely goals in that team where I can only imagine the assists burbs will make to the likes of Harry Morgan. We were leaky at the back and the new defenders will help shore that up. What can we achieve? Play offs definitely.

Hopefully the crowds will return to watch what should be a very exciting season, another keeper would be nice but after the latest signing can’t think there’s much of a budget left ? |
