Just seen that Curtis won’t be with us next season Oh thanks for the update, really gutted to be honest. He played really well for a couple of seasons when we got promoted. How much did he actually play that season, didn’t burbs Lovell toby and Luke play most weeks ahead of him. Maybe graham fun has some stats on Curtis for that season, so we could possibly see games played, subs, goals, assists? |

I’m not disagreeing that we have signed some very good players in the positions that Curtis plays. I would imagine that Burbs will be down the right and Hoey down the left and we also have Jez Bedford who is a great player on form.
I just think like many others, Curtis is popular because he’s such a nice lad, and with so many players coming and going the last couple of seasons, it’s only been him and Arnie that stuck with it and stayed loyal.
As Barry says we are going to need a squad if we are challenging, so it would have been good to see Curtis stay a part of it, but also we don’t know the in’s and out’s. Maybe he wanted a guaranteed first team spot, got a better offer elsewhere or James has more signings ready to bring in, let’s wait and see. I do think he’ll go on to do well with another club though as he’s got a lot of potential so good luck to him 😊

My suspicion is that maybe Curtis looked at the player signed in his position already, and decided he wanted more regular starts than he was likely to get?

Harry baker
Harry Morgan
Luke burbridge
Jez Bedford
Jack hoey
Dan Bartlett
All who can play if the 3/4 attacking potions, surely as nice a lad curt is or how long he’s been at the club they can’t all play and players will be sitting in the bench not playing.

Curtis leaving is perhaps the first departure that has raised eyebrows. Hopefully James can explain more in his next interview. Glad Arnie has re-signed. He is Mr Wimborne Town.
Still only the first week in June so no need to panic about squad numbers.

Debut at Farnborough 11 Aug 2018
2018-19: 41 appearances (26 starts, 15 as sub); 9 goals; 4 assists
2019-20 (expunged): 36 apps (24 starts, 12 as sub); 2 goals; 3 assists
2020-21 (expunged): 11 apps (all starts); 2 goals; 2 assists
2021-22: 39 apps (31 starts, 8 as sub);6 goals; 6 assists
Total: 127 apps (92 starts, 35 as sub); 19 goals; 15 assists
- assists are subjective
And he's a really nice guy.
I wish Curtis well in the next stage of his career.

No I was trying to say they all can play in the attacking positions in the team, there will probably be 3/4 positions available in the team for all those players to fit into, so my question was where would Curtis fit into it with all those players as well |

Burbs is going to be a fantastic addition to the team, last season I watched him for Shaftesbury on a number of occasions absolutely brilliant but not many games did he last 90mins, Curtis could definitely do a job here ?

You can make a case for most of the squad being asked to do a job for the team like last season, hopefully the quality we now have will let them shine in there strongest positions every week ? |

You can make a case for most of the squad being asked to do a job for the team like last season, hopefully the quality we now have will let them shine in there strongest positions every week ? Harry is an out and out striker, a goal scorer and plays best when up against the last man, so I would imagine he’s competition for Bealey or when we want to play two up front. |
