It was nil nil at halftime but Chugg got sent off shortly after the re-start as the last man and bringing down Lewis Powell. From the resultant free kick Merthyr took the lead.

As a matter of interest Hamworthy won their FA Vase Quarter Final v Southall today
It was 1-1 at full time and the Hammers won 7-6 on penalties after a Shane Murphy save

I was at Hamworthy today, along with some other magpie regulars I recognised and what excitement it was to be part of a cup success, reminding me of our own cup run in 92. Oh what days they were and honestly right now I wouldn't mind being back in the Wessex league winning the majority of matches. Well obviously id rather be in the southern league but there's much to be said for being a bigger fish in a smaller pond. It's clear this season is a write off and it cant end quick enough for me from a Wimborne perspective. I just hope we can start enjoying going to matches again next August with a more competitive team!

I think the apathy shown after loosing to the only team who have anywhere near as bad a record as us and all but conforming relegations speaks volumes. Another episode of poor discipline. I would really love to know what gives anyone actual confidence this manager can achieve any of our long term objectives.
I take no pleasure feeling this way because it feels like its witch hunt but it seems performances and results are unbelievably getting worse!!
I just cannot fathom that Lee genuinely believes there is no one else out there who can do a better job than James. At what point do we say enough is enough.

Are you saying that it doesn’t matter if we lose every single week as long as we played ok? What I’m saying is did you go to the game? Did you see if the lads played well or not? The manager again looks like he’s been let down by player errors not being pulled apart. I would imagine after lees post players will be in the next week or so so we will probably loose every game if we’re playing the dev lads, also from lees post if we can’t compete financially or we don’t have the infrastructure then yes we may as well loose and go down. anyway doesn’t matter as your not coming back next season are you. Obviously not a very loyal supporter, have one incredibly tough season in the highest league we’ve ever been in and against big strong teams and you jump ship |

Well you carry on trying to defend the indefensible, he’s let down by the players that he signed and continues to pick. Chugg should have been let go months ago as he’s a liability.
You spent the first half of the season defending the manager and blaming the budget,but since the takeover happened the new board have increased the budget and players of higher calibre like Bartlett, Benfield, Bedford have been brought in and amazingly we’ve got even worse!
In the last week we’ve been humiliated 5-0 at home and now lost the ‘must win’ game at Merthyr who also have a very small budget and have a younger squad than us.
Oh well never mind, let’s give Stokoe another extension till 2030

Well you carry on trying to defend the indefensible, he’s let down by the players that he signed and continues to pick. Chugg should have been let go months ago as he’s a liability. Well it’s nice to see that you find the situation so 😂 funny, it says it all really.
And my apologies for not noticing the huge upturn in form and performances since the takeover, maybe the missing 180 on the gate last Tuesday have missed it too despite your predictions that keeping the manager would have no effect (and that was before watching the rubbish on the night)
When the takeover was announced on the 30th November we had 7 points and since then 4 and a half months later we have gained a further 8 points and been knocked out of all cups we were still in. That’s despite the better players that have been brought in with an increased budget, if you think that’s progress then good for you.

There is little to no chance that he will bring the club back up next season. However being the custodians of the club I hold the board to different standard and I wonder irrespective of the contract and what point do deem the teams results and performances detrimental to clubs objectives. I think we need to understand as fan base what the board have deemed our level. Is that midtable the league below, avoiding relegation in the league below, promotion winners? As I said the attendances and reactions a starting to tell story unfortunately.
