Fingers crossed for this weekend ? Hopefully get a few new players in to start our climb to the top 🤞🤍🖤⚽️ Hi Barry, I hope you are well? Like yourself I really hope the lads can get a good win on Saturday and kick start some points on the road. I do find it interesting that you already feel like we need new players so early in the season though. Just out of interest did you think we had a good side after the squad was announced pre season? I think most of us felt that we had more than enough quality to be competitive? My point being that we started last season badly but it was totally understandable given that we had to play young players like Smith, Carswell, McWilliams due to circumstances. We strengthened in the second half of the season with players like Bartlett, Bedford, Benfield, Kellaway and loan players from Weymouth and AFC Bournemouth but results and performances got even worse. This season we strengthened even further and brought in experienced players like Wells, Rose, Baker, Hangar, Hoey ….. and we are playing in a lower division but still performances and results have not been good enough. For me we can’t keep saying the team/squad/players aren’t good enough as on paper they really should be this year in this division. I really hope we try something different on Saturday, a different style of play, a different formation. I don’t understand why we don’t play both Beale and Baker up front, we need to start taking the game to these teams and play like we are one of the favourites and best teams in the division. I also hope that Connal and Aaron are back in the side as they don’t deserve to be on the bench I’m sure most fans would agree. Just my thoughts and I’m sure others will differ Up the magpies 😊

Baker is and has been I’ll for the last 2 weeks if you watch the games, read the comments and interviews. Also what formations would you like the team to play as from what I can see and the interviews I’ve watch James in we have played 2 different formations.

agree with gemma the squad has been strengthened and on paper should be well capable of competing for at least a play off place in this league,we are of course 5th at present but many fans appear unhappy, commonly saying weve only beaten some poor teams, this squad is capable of better tho some quality loan signings sprinkled thro the season can only help, like the striker from weymouth we had last season real quality. Alterations i would make immediately would be a new goalkeeper, essential i believe and a big strong frontman who can hold the ball (not my problem where you find him haha!!).Realistically everyone knows,in football when things arent going well rightly or wrongly the manager is blamed,to early to panic but the board need to assess the position after say 10/12 games

You can only beat who you are playing and we’ve played and beat 2 teams at the bottom and then a team in 9th and lost to a team 1&2nd in the league, we’re in the play offs what’s the panic?? I think the board would be looking at it after the first dozen games regardless but if we’re in the play offs is that not a bad place to be?

I definitely did think we would have had a better start, i did think the players we signed were going to do a job for us at the beginning of the season, we have definitely no doubt in my mind the players to get us in the playoff positions, I don’t think we are using our players we have to there full potential, i would be looking for two more players to replace two that in my opinion have been extremely disappointing so far. I too hope Connal and Aaron are back in the side both give us that little bit extra that we now need for the whole 90 mins. I’m not sure the thinking behind starting Baker and Beale total mystery to me that one ! Looking forward to Saturday 🤍🖤⚽️🤞

So where were you thinking the team would be now and how many points did you expect them to have,
Do you think baker and beale should be or should t be starting together I didn’t understand your answer, and as I mentioned baker has been unavailable for 2 weeks
If you want baker and Beale to play up front in a 2, what formation do you play?

The problem this season is that, for whatever reason, the team is underperforming and not playing to their full potential. The squad we have this season should be good enough to be challanging for first position, not just the play off's. This game will be a good test of how we bounce back from last Saturday. If the team continues to underperform however, changes will need to be made.

All about opinions of course, the beauty of football 😊

Here’s to 3 points on Saturday 👍

Looks more slight than beale or baker who havnt done that this season yet
