That’s interesting Barry, within our current squad does that mean that you’d like to see Jack Hoey playing down the middle then? All about opinions of course, the beauty of football 😊 That’s interesting, I thought Jack was more a wide player or a 10, can he hold the ball up up front on his own? Looks more slight than beale or baker who havnt done that this season yet Wouldn’t be using anyone up front on there own, that’s the reason Lewis hasn’t been able to show us what he’s all about, the long ball over the top missing out the quality players we have in midfield isn’t the way forward in my opinion, we have some great footballers let them play football ? |

Havnt we been playing a 3-5-2 with Lewis and Jack up front and playing football and out from the back and through Bart’s in midfield? Is that the plan ? Well that’s not what it looks like from the stands. It’s more of keeper to Rose who knocks it long to our strikers who are always out muscled by three big defenders, when we knock it about through the midfielder’s we are at our most entertaining and score some great goals ? |

Don’t disagree that rose does put balls in behind but we also play some really good football out from the ball and through the midfield from what I watch,
We’ve only played against 3 sides with 3 defenders also from what I’ve seen this season, dorch, Bristol and sholing.

I didn’t see the Exmouth game but was told that’s a back 4 not 3 so even if it’s a ball over the top there’s 2 cb not 3 same as I’m told westbury we’re. This is where football opinion differ because yes I agree rose does play that ball but we do try playing out and that’s caused the problem with the keeper given goals away. |

With our squad and the opposition we've started with, at least four wins and maybe two draws, or a draw and a defeat as realistically early on you will usually lose a game. I think against lymington, cinderford and larkhall given where they are, nothing less than a win was expected so I would have expected a win in one of the away games and maybe draw with sholing. Tomorrow is going to be tough. Our oppo are on a decent run including a draw at third placed hamworthy, who btw have exceeded expectations I feel.

Exmouth we had so many chances in the first half that we never took, we should never have given them the chance to knick the late winner ? The Sholing team some of our players said we’re not as good as they expected, but they beat us comfortably ? Let’s wait until tomorrows game we must somehow have a every player on that pitch at it with minimal individual mistakes, we have the players to get something 🤞🤞🤍🖤⚽️ |

So doesn’t that tell us we’re not far off if like I’ve said before we are creating lots of chances, surely the formations,tactic etc are working just now down to players taking the chances and keeper not costing us goals and we will be fine.

You said 4 wins and 2 draws also, so what’s your reasoning for winning both away games just because we have signed some players and come down we have the ultimate right to win a game, No I wasn’t expecting us to lose but also not to win either especially against a good side that sholing are, you have to take each game as it comes and if we win we win but you can’t go into games expecting to win you have to earn the right to win. Are the team not in the play offs where we all think we should be come end of season and we are only 5/6 games in with another 30 odd to go |
