My Dad walked along the river with his two dogs and a couple of mates who like a pint went to the club got turned away ! I was talking to Chuggy about his Italian greyhound that he had tucked into his coat one of the directors came over and asked him to leave the ground, can you not just put some of the benches out the front ? This decision is not very business minded considering we have a dog walking path going past the front entrance. With the way WTFC run the " business" we will lose all potentional neutral customers to the Rugby Club when its built . |

Surely like the shops or elsewhere we could put up dog tethers. Owners can then come in for a bevvie?

With the way WTFC run the " business" we will lose all potentional neutral customers to the Rugby Club when its built . im glad I’m not one of the directors sat in meetings having to watching ridiculous agenda items getting passed through, it makes no business sense to anyone but the directors that voted it through, They said they found dog mess on the 3G, either make sure the gates are kept shut or clean it up ? |

In fairness I can understand on the 3G pitch area… and indeed on our match pitch… But what is different to the Old Cuthbury community spirted club house venue… and the New Cuthbury community spirited club house venue…. Apart from the decor…. Tether up outside… not an option… benches in the car park… second class citizens because we own a dog…. Sorry I mentioned this on this site… but hopefully the director who doesn’t like dogs and made this decision or the feels we don’t need additional income across the bar during the day… will have a review of this… but I’m nit going to mention this again on this forum… There’s more supportive things to contribute to…. But think they have seriously got this wrong .. and the supporter who told me the gentleman’s club scenario coming to the fore… I’m not sure of the history behind this… but our new BOD should review and perhaps not be influenced by ex directors.

Unless you know something we don’t we have Harry, Dan, Connel and Ashley hopefully Ben can get fit that’s 5 players signed hardly the whole team from last season ? I would definitely sign 3 more of last year team that still would leave 10 more players needed to make the squad ! No easy task as there are so much competition looking for the same signings ? On the back of what we’ve already signed and the what Barry said about 3 more he would want to have re-signed I see Louis Kellaway has now re-signed. Another good bit of business and a true Wimborne player. I’m glad he’s back |

Starting to look good, I’m sure James has some additional key players in his sights… and in due course can’t wait to hear about them… and with just 89 days to go until the start of the season… the good news seems to keep on coming.

My apologies - I put the article together whilst I was at the Eastleigh game this afternoon, and had just spoken to someone in the press box about Lewis Beale so he must have been on my mind! I've amended the article now.
On a related note, Tom Bragg played the first-half and didn't look out of place - stopped a certain goal with a clearance off the line.
