A good point made Martin.
Should James of made it this far, maybe not but like it or not, agree or disagree, the fact of the matter is James is who the board have decided is the right man to take this club forward next year. I for one will be right behind him, what's the benefit in moaning about it? I've criticised James in the past, but this is the decision the club have made so be it. I can either kick up a pointless fuss or enjoy going to football and supporting my local team.
I've stayed quiet on here as I've not been able to make many of the games lately. However, reading the posts from Gemma, i think the place would be a much nicer & family friendly environment without her negativity around it. The attraction to Wimborne, rather that Poole for example, is the friendly atmosphere around the place and the people are superb. But this forum is too easy for people to hide behind and cheaply slag people off. Let your opinion known and leave it at that. What is your personal vendetta with James? Has he released or not been picking one of your sons maybe?
Gemma, i'd love to have a friendly chat with you tonight, buy you a coffee and really understand where you're coming from. Not to argue, but to understand. I'll be in a green coat with my Wimborne Town scarf on stood over by the corner flag bench side behind the goal (by the big black gates). Please feel free to approach me.
Thomas.

Gemma says it is not her place to call out the manager after a game True but what about the players
Dan Bartlett was training with Wimborne pre season and James tried to sign him but Poole Town had more money.
As finance improved we could afford to pay Dan more money. He agreed to come even though we would likely be going down and he knew how James worked
Harry Morgan came from Bashley in my opinion a good signing but under James and Marks training has greatly improved. He has signed for next year even though there were other clubs interested
So this is the opinions of two good players who have committed to the cause and an inept manager!!!
Who would you rather listen to players who work regularly with James or someone who has a problem with him

Hello Martin, how are you? I’m afraid that you’ve answered your own question here. “Dan Bartlett was training with Wimborne pre season and James tried to sign him but Poole Town had more money. As finance improved we could afford to pay Dan more money. He agreed to come” I’m not sure that you can say with certainty that Dan signed because he likes the manager (could be true though I accept). It’s more likely that he came when we were able to offer him more money than Poole Town.

And in turn you’ve answered your own questions about the budget, yes a better budget does help the team attract players, so poor budget means poor players, then trying to temp players into a relegation scrap won’t happen very often, why don’t you ask Dan why he came over? Next season decent budget better players better performances and wins

Why is it just me that you wish to single out Thomas, there are 3 or 4 other people on here expressing exactly the same opinion as me but hence you’ve targeted myself to have a pop at and declare that the club would be more family friendly without me. When I’m at the games, me and my family cheer the boys on from the first whistle until the last and spend our hard earned money in the bar and the tearoom, so I don’t believe that we have any negative impact on the atmosphere at all. I have no desire to meet you tonight as this is a forum where we are all free to express an opinion without having to justify it, but thanks for the offer of a coffee and enjoy the game tonight.

i am in disagreement with those saying this is a level too high for wfc,i have no knowledge of any financial aspects of the club but cannot see any reason why the club cannot become an established southern premier team, facilities, crowds also now an expanding sponsorship and hospitality package must match or better over half the clubs in the league.i believe the club from top to bottom was caught out by the standard of this league but next time all will be aware of what is reqd,i know most supporters have been taken back buy the quality of players and great football the top teams are playing inthis league. ps.dont forget financial situations can change overnight,a significant main sponsor or genuinely wealthy investor and bingo!!

That's a shame Gemma. I really enjoy interacting with fellow fans, whatever their opinions are. It's part of the game. I had a season ticket for many years at Chelsea, and one of the best parts was hearing everybody else's take and opinions on the game. It's no different at Wimborne! You're entitled to your opinion, as it everyone else.
Having a dig at you? That's what you've spent all your time on this forum doing. I was just hoping you'd brave enough to discuss with me in person, but obviously not. I'd be really interested to have a chat with you and express my opinions on it too. That goes for anyone else on this forum, whatever your opinions please always feel free to chat with me. I stand on my own when my son doesn't come so will welcome the company!
Likewise, i hope you enjoy the game and have something good to moan about after! (Tongue in cheek comment)

In this instance I will bow to the knowledge of the people that know James and the boards judgement who are all more knowledgeable than myself and Who clearly see many, many things that lead them to believe there is no one more capable than James out there and his performance should be rewarded.
This being the case I sincerely hope a) they give the manager the budget he feels he needs to do the job whatever the job is, as it seems to be accepted that this is the reason for this seasons failure. b) as results are not the criteria in which this clubs manager is judged, ahead of next season the board can maybe provide us with some inclination of their on pitch objectives. This clarity will perhaps enable supporters to know what to expect and how to assess the teams performance saving us from repeating this years frustrations.

Have you seen Tommy killick interview this week after Saturday game, he said there budget isn’t strong enough to be challenging but have players that left us in burbs and Tony for more money, Corby signed a new deal, spetch and whisk experienced players on good money and there budget isn’t big enough, we have majority a team of young players so surely that tells you we are well behind and finances play a big part of Tommy is moaning about the budget he has to work with and the players at his disposal

Ya da ya da ya da, who gives a fck what Killick thinks. If you think he is the 'dog's bollock's when it comes to football management then you are an even bigger idiot than you currently portray on this forum !

I don’t like Tommy, I’m just stating that he doesn’t feel his budget is good enough so ours certainly isn’t.
