“Good one Gemma, so to be a good manager you have to have played pro or a very good level??”
No not at all, and I didn’t say that to be fair. But you do have to be more capable than our current management team have shown themselves to be. It’s quite clear that there are a wide range of opinions on here, some of us think it’s time for a change and some do not, which is fine, that’s the beauty of football.
However what is clear from your posts is that you are definitely not a ground hopping casual supporter and that no matter what people say on here regarding the management, that you are going to mock what we say, challenge everything we say and back the manager to the hilt no matter what even if we lose 8-1 and lose every game until the end of the season and get relegated. Again that’s fine and your choice, but I would rather we rolled the dice and took a gamble in the hope that it kept us in the league or at the very least if we do go down then we go down with a fight.
All I will say is that regardless of who is available, who isn’t and who would want the job, it is my opinion that it is time for a change and Stokoe is clearly not up to the job in more ways than one, the argument about the budget is getting tiresome, particularly as we have 5 or 6 new players since the takeover.

I said I watch the home games and ground hop on the away games if you read back Gemma, I’m not defending a 8-1 defeat, but there’s allways 2 sides to argument and your on one side I’m in the other, saints manager lost 9-0 twice in 1 season is still in his job, you have to look at the higher picture? Are wimborne as a club set up for this level of football??? No we are not, there are much bigger clubs than Wimborne in the league or leagues below all over the country. I’m not saying that means we have to be relegated but we have to be realistic in where Wimborne are as a club and what is a realistic target for the club

Now we are getting somewhere! I'll admit that a few on Gemma's list make some sort of sense in terms of experience, others not so much. Would it be like asking lightning to strike twice (first strike being Matty Holmes) by approaching someone who is mainly operating in the youth setups? I particularly like the idea of Tim Sills, who is doing a very good job at Hamworthy. Yes, they will potentially be in the same league as us next season but the facilities at Dorset HQ are dated so the prospect of what could be considered as a big local club may be attractive.
I believe candidate location could be key - how many on the list would be ruled out due to the necessary travel 2-3 times a week? Wimborne isn't exactly a hub location for anyone living outside of the immediate area.
Appreciate your feedback.

I fully agree Kick it and Gemma not sure on your candidates but endorse the sentiment.
