Whilst the Premier League & Championship is now on hold until Xmas, football for us will of course continue during the World Cup.
We have 3 home league games (and a DSC tie v Poole) during the World Cup - Exmouth on Tuesday 22nd November, Bristol MF on Saturday 26th November & Frome on Saturday 10th December - and we're finalizing plans to attract as many fans as possible with different special offers and activities across the 3 matches including... - reduced price admission for the Exmouth game - reduced price admission for AFCB & Saints season ticket holders and free entry to Junior Cherries for the BMF game - Matty Holmes has handed out a number of free tickets to some of the schools he works with which went down well for Tim's first home game in charge.
The Frome match will come with food / drink special offers and with the potential for England to be in the quarter finals that evening (fingers crossed the lads do their bit!) we plan is to make the Frome match a special football day with activities for kids planned etc.
Any bright ideas for the Frome game or anybody who'd like to get involved and run something on the day then feel free to drop me an email to l.merrifield@mspcapital.co.uk

Some excellent ideas there Lee, Lets hope we can get some new supporters through the gate and make sure that they enjoy the experience enough to come back in the future.
As I have mentioned before I believe a project "Target 500" which has the objective of attracting 500 paying spectators to each home game should be given some thought.
The target of 500 spectators per game is very achievable, especially with the team starting to show improvements in performance and results.

I think I've got a way to get more supporters in during the world cup. This report gave me the idea www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63624727So why can't we put in a bid for one of the AFC Bournemouth players who are'nt going to the World Cup. I would suggest Phil Bill [Philip Billing] as he hasnt made the Danish world cup squad. Surely that would get the gate up !

Just been pointed out to me that if you try and buy tickets online from the club website for the BMF game, the price comes up as £12 Adults and £8 concessions. I thought it was going to be £10 & £6 ? Can someone clarify please

I believe that unless you are a Southampton or AFCB season ticket holder entry prices remain the same as all other home games, £12 £8
Reductions to entry prices for the BMF game only apply when showing your Southampton or AFCB season ticket.
