As bad a half of football as you will ever see . It has to be better 2nd half.

Just before half time AFCT were down to 10 men when Jefford was sent off for pushing Bedford. Harry Morgan put us ahead in the 54th minute and Hallett equalised for Totton with a header from a free kick about 72 mins

I must have watched a different match to others. Tempo much better tonight. Not greatly troubled in the first half but tight. Second half, lovely finish for our goal. Sadly old defensive habits die hard and we couldn't hold on. We fully deserved a point against a side who were pre season favourites and by far played the better football. One side played hoof ball tonight and it wasn't us. Lovely to see James and Laura at the match. The view of the gang behind the goal who made all the noise was that we are already improving.

They played with ten men and were unlucky not take all the points with the lob hitting the bar. Our goalie couldn't kick, thought it was a dreadful game, there you go.

Agree with this poor from Wimborne, hanging on at the end of the game against 10 men and lucky not to lose, little football played, players just hitting aimless balls forward |

Earlier in the season we would have lost this. Murphy was apparently unwell. Should have controlled the game much better against 10 men after going one nil up but there we go. I’d have taken a point before the game. Onwards and upwards.

It’s obvious that some on here still haven’t got over James leaving and therefore really don’t want to give Tim any praise, some of you even wrote off the 2 new signings before they had even played.
Last night was our first away point of the season so far! Let’s take it as a positive, particularly as it was against one of the leagues strongest teams.
The new manager has had just 3 games! There are already signs of improvement but still much to do, let’s give Tim some time to create his own team and put his stamp on things.

Regardless if your on the stokoe out or in side of the debate, can you say after 2/3 weeks that anything has improved, less football played for sure under tim, same or less chances created, given all 3 goals against paulton. Last night was very poor

We’ve been excellent away from home haven’t we? Regularly going one nil up away from home. Just arguing for arguing sake now aren’t we?! We weren’t great this evening but if you cannot get behind the new management team, then that’s a shame. |

I’m not saying I’m not behind them, just I didn’t like the way they played at Hamworthy.
Can you honestly answer that that was a good performance? Did we get the ball down and try and make the pitch big against 10 mens and stretch them to find space? Can you honestly say you thought we would win at any point even with the extra man? It was as poor as it has been at any point and surly you can’t argue with that.
