If we are going to hoof it out instead of conceding the one goal we have lost by all season I’m happy. I’ve been to every game this season home and away and a hood at the right time might have got us a few results Exmouth Westbury Willand Rovers
We were probably the better side in all these but got nothing. There is a time and a place for fancy football. We have great players - we need to mould them into a great team. I’m backing the new management team. I backed the old management team but they are no longer here. As fans we have to move on. I really hope we start to get results. What this management team did for Hamworthy encourages me. Let’s get behind them. We are Wimborne!

Absolutely spot on. A bit hypocritical in my view that the same people who stamped on any perceived criticism of James are already moaning about the new manager and his style of play. Stop moaning and get behind the team and manger. He's only had one game, give him a chance. This is wimborne town Fc not James stokoe fc. The new keeper is a no brainer. Murphy has been brilliant. Our last keeper played three times and made mistakes costing two goals. Not a good ratio really.

As mentioned previously I don't get this hoofball nonsense. Difficult for me as stokes family have been friends for 20 years but negativity at this point is bizarre.

Wimborne Fans will get a reputation for moaning even more than the Poole Fans do if we allow negativity on this Forum.. Let's all get behind the Management and the team and give them a chance. Tim Sills will need a lot more time to get the team playing the way he wants. I don't recognise that his style of play is hoofball. Ive watched them enough to know that Hamworthy didnt play that way.
I will complain about one aspect of watching us play though. When we score we get a good roar. But with the gates we get now we should have a good behind the goal vocal support. But its like a graveyard sometimes. I've stood behind the goal and given my vocal support to the team over decades. But Now I need to sit in the stand. I won't mention the one young supporter who galvanised our vocal support during the Cuthbury days, but we do need someone to get things going. When all the team can hear is the opposition supporters its not good. We don't need the likes of the rabble that follow Poole - but we need fans who the team can be encouraged by.
