Last season there were 380 bans at grass roots level for assults on Referees

And its not just at grassroots level. It may not be players so much but there is a certain local Manager at Southern League level who constantly abuses and criticises the officials, and has been banned for it in the past. He doesnt seem to learn and treads on thin ice as Ive been near the dugout watching a game and the foul and abusive language which he spouts is unbelievable.
