So after a tough week for the club it was great to watch the reserves last night (hands up, it was my first reserve game since watching AFCB reserves in 1992!).
Well done Taffy and the lads for a good game. Some of those youngsters have some pace and more importantly confidence in front of goal. Our number 8, was it luke sheehy? Took his goals so well, it kind of emphasised how the first team have struggled in front of goal of late.
Was chatting to a guy who has recently moved from South London. He was marvelling at our set up and facilities. Makes you realise what we have. Anyway as someone who often likes to take in a DPL game (usually at cobham) I look forward to seeing more of the reserves this season.
Ps should reserve matches be free if you have a season ticket? The lad on the gate thought not and I paid my £4 but usually you get them free at most clubs. Not that I minded paying to see that display !
