Enough is enough now and it really is time to change the manager. We’ve been relegated after a disastrous season, we are in a lower division with stronger players that have performed well at higher levels than this and yet we’ve lost 4 out of the first 7 games and been knocked out of both cups. The only teams we’ve beaten are the bottom relegation candidates and 4th from bottom Bristol Manor Farm were one of the teams who knocked us out of the FA Trophy.
We are struggling to put the ball in the net at one end and we concede a s*** load of goals at the other. I’ve seen all of this squad play well at other teams including the Southern Premier so they cannot possibly be coached properly to keep seeing these inadequate performances.
As much as it would be a difficult decision, as much as James is a very nice guy, as much as James has been extremely dedicated and loyal to our club for many years which we should all be grateful for, as much as he’s passionate, cares and is trying his best, his performance as our manager is simply not good enough.

Frustrating. Played some really good stuff today. Jez was exceptional. Couldn't convert. On top for 70 minutes. They weren't up to much yet we conceded 3.

Get a grip Gemma. You have no idea what they do in trading as nor do any of us, I’m sure you didn’t attend the open session you asked for either, as Welsh wing wizard has said, the team were on top for large periods just didn’t score had so many chances, goals change games and if we score in that first half we win the game

It’s not a flawed argument is it? How many chances did we create today and should have been out of sight at ht. your now saying they must be coached poorly, how the **** do you know that when you asked for a open session for you sons to watch and get autographs and then don’t even go. Todays performance wasn’t bad and a result of poor coach just players not scoring when on top.

It’s clear that even if we are relegated this year and end up in the Wessex league then you’ll still see nothing wrong.

I didn’t say that did I, I just said how do you know they are not coached properly that you are accusing the manager of? You say my argument is flawed but even Barry said we had enough chances to win the game twice over a exmouth same as dorch away, if the players are not scoring and letting other teams in the game how is that the managers fault???

Well of course it didn’t take long for Gemma to get the old record out from last season to play again… the result today is disappointing… I’m looking forward to Grahams report and of course the post game interview with James… Might be worth reading and listening before making strong ‘change the Management’ comments… I still think James and his team are developing the squad for the long term… and whilst these early games and the score lines are frustrating… I think we just need to hold our nerve…. and support James and his team and the players…. Just saying…

I do think something has to change before the season drifts away from us. Nobody is question James desire but we’ve lost to every half decent team we’ve played. We’ve changed formation, changed players, changed tactics but no change in luck. Has James given all he can?
This week off has come at a bad bad time.

Sorry, I’m not calling for the manager to be sacked. I’m asking what else can be changed.
I wasn’t there today, so cannot comment on performance.

I'm afraid I can't agree with Welsh wing wizards assessment that we were on top for 70 mins. Yes we edged the first half and played our usual neat football but their keeper made one save that I can recall. The other chances went wide, high or drifted out. Melkshams goal came out of the blue and our heads then seemed to drop. Their keeper wasn't stretched at all before picking out the ball from his net for jez's superb consolation strike. The frustration is that for all the neat approach work we're really not creating that many clear cut chances and again a fairly average side has won without really being pegged back. If we had lost 2-3 and say hit the bar or post and forced half a dozen saves you could say that there is promise and the results will come but it honestly wasn't like that today.

I was there today, the first half was the best 45 mins I’ve watched for a long time very enjoyable, we had three great chances never took any of them, the second half Melksham had three goal chances and converted all of them ! We’ve not won away from home for a year !! Unfortunately the issues are the same issues every week we don’t put the ball in the net ? James only had Lewis available today, Jack had Flu, Harry Baker still not available due to illness. Is it the managers fault or the players ?

Barry my disappointment at the second half collapse has probably coloured my memory of the first half but would you agree that although we created good chances we didn't really force many saves from the keeper? Getting beaten and not really making the opposition keeper work hard is a worry. The first half was however much improved on sholing. Very frustrating though when a team who hasn't troubled you much scores three goals from few chances.
