We’re you there ? We should have won them both ! No I wasn’t there and I don’t know how the games went but why should you have won them both? Evesham went to Exmouth the other da and lost 4-1.

I’ve not seen Evesham this season so can’t comment, have you seen them ? The Exmouth side wanted the points more than we did, when they scored and at the final whistle they all went crazy as if they had won the FA Cup, there centre back was fantastic took care of everything he was asked to do never gave our strikers a chance, the pitch was the worst pitch I’ve seen for years to be honest but it was the same for both teams, our pitch was nothing to shout about last year. The Westbury game we made so many chances should have been out of sight before we went down to 10 men ! There was only going to be one winner then unfortunately.

Shooting practice, getting players who want to celebrate more than Wimborne’s when they score so it feels like a cup final?

I’m just asking what the answer is, do the players need shooting practise? How do you know they wanted it more? How do you know the team wouldn’t celebrate like that after scoring a last minute winner? Did they jo win the past when they’ve won late on? (Basingstoke for instance in the fa cup)

(Basingstoke for instance in the fa cup) I’ve never attended any training session at the club so have no ideal what’s worked on and what’s not. I attend most games home and away so have a good ideal what happens on match days, it’s very easy to see if a teams up for the game or not the supporters at Exmouth we’re talking to us on the way out they said they were not expecting to win the game with us getting relegated they saw us as one of the favourites to win the league !

I don’t disagree that team will want to beat us because we have come down a league but to say they want it more because they celebrate I don’t get, and as you said earlier we should have won so does that mean we where the better team technically and tactically just couldn’t score?

To be honest I’ve not seen any league team that we have played this season knock it around like we can, your right we don’t score enough goals ! I was at Bashley last night they can knock it around too but have also had a couple of defeats surprisingly.

We are joint top scores in the league and your saying we’ve not scored enough, Is it a surprise they have lost or does it happen to every team that games are lost?

We’ve played the bottom two teams that’s we’re 7 of those goals came from. Hopefully we can end Sholings 100% winning start on Saturday, that will definitely show us where we’re at ?

Regardless if they are bottom 2 or not, how many did you want them to score against them.didn’t Bashley only just beat lymington 1-0
So what in your eyes would be a good result against sholing? Is it a good performance and a loss, and poor performance and a win, a draw? They as you said will be a good side and alway are at this level, again I think you think we should be beating them for some reason

I’m just trying to figure out what you want from the team, good performances or wins? Does it really matter how the win comes as long as the team wins, does it matter if we score 1 or 6?

Jack, by your own admission on earlier posts you're a ground hopper and not a regular supporter. Are you just on here to play devils advocate for every opinion given and wind people up like Barry? If you read his comments you know he said we will need our A game to beat sholing, he didn't say he expects to beat them. He also said we should have got something from those away games. That could be a draw, not just a win. Again you mis quoted him saying he expected to win. Basically what most wimborne fans feel is that with our budget and the effort made to assemble a good team this season we should be looking to get points at places like exmouth and westbury. No devine (divine?) right to win as you put it, just a reasonable expectation to pick up points away. Hope that explains things for you.
