Hi Wimbornefan, how are you? Yes the team played well today, in particular Oakley Hangar who deserved his goal after a great performance storming forwards down the right hand side. I agree with others that Lymington aren’t the strongest side but you can only beat what’s in front of you and to get 5 goals in front of a big crowd was great to see. This is why we live football, I thought Ben Satterley was fantastic today, with jez Bedford probably having his best game I’ve seen him have in a Wimborne shirt, Oakley hanger did well today but thought he was sloppy first half. Yes Ben was excellent and probably now gives James a selection dilemma which can only be a good thing, I think he probably had a point to prove as he started last season at Lymington. Jez again was excellent, always rated him as a player both as a youth at Portsmouth and then at Poole Town. We didn’t see the best of him last year but we are starting to see what a good player he is. Let’s hope we can get a run going and get some points on the road as well |

Agreed it was a really good win and enjoyable to watch especially the second half. However there were a few worrying spells in the first half when we looked vunerable at the back and where a better side would have taken advantage and probably converted. I am sure that James is fully aware and will address the shortcomings. Anyway well done to all the players on well earned three points.

Good game best Wimborne performance for a long time well done all especially the keeper Fully agree. Some really team play. Good also to see a good size crowd get behined the Team. Looking forward to the cup game on Saturday. |

What a result… 3 points.. Didn’t enjoy the first half if I’m honest… but WOW what ever was said in the changing rooms at half time… and then Gambo… your enthusiasm was infectious… we watched you on the touch line… and the difference came… The team we always knew were there… We could easily have been 7-1 … Lewis… you’re scoring skills will be back very soon… crikey you had so many shots.. don’t give up… and what saves from the keeper… It was overall a good afternoon’s entertainment in front of a huge crowd… And the atmosphere in the clubhouse afterwards… well success breeds success… (btw have you tried those ham and tomato rolls on the bar…)… James .. your skills in management came to the fore today… please don’t be put off by these negative faceless.p comments in this site … it was great to see you so approachable in the bar after the game… As a supporter I’m feeling really encouraged by the squads skills and tenacity… Obviously our visiting teams are going to close good football skills down with high and long balls… but no doubt you and your team are well aware of this… Great afternoons football. Gemma… hope you managed to chat to James in the bar afterwards…. If not - I’m sure he would have appreciated your supportive comments (oops did I say that out loud)… bloody hell colin thats a bit ott ha ha are you collecting points for supporter of the year award !! lol (and you were so gentle with the lino on sat! we want the old colin back this sat!!see you then cheers mate |

So… Keith thanks for recognising it’s me… Here’s my position… I like to support the team, and I mean management here, who are committed to the club… really try their best aand give everything … Many players do… but for me Connell… does all that and more… and he is one of many fro the 2022/23 squad.
We’re doing OK… in my opinion James and his team are really doing well… and I think there is so much more to come… really do… Keith as for supporter of the year award… think there is merit in this 🤪🤪
Just want to support someone, who is doing so much, giving so much and has so much knowledge to get the job done… Will James and his team make mistakes, …. Probably, will they learn from it definitely and will WTFC benefit from their experience and input.. from my perspective YES… Give them some slack, watch their management skills come to the fore… and a team of talented sportsmen provide great on pitch skills…
But … welcome your vote Keith … 🤪
