Hi everyone. We are so sorry but Owen Shepherd has told us he has commitments that mean he is unable to continue his excellent commentary of Wimborne games. We have been frantically trying to find a replacement but there is not a glut of persons willing and able to provide such a service. Owen's brilliant coverage and enthusiasm will be a hard act to follow and if anyone knows of ANYONE who would take this on. please contact us at Radio Wimborne, or the club itself. Can I remind all that Steve White will always keep you up to date with all local games on his Sports Show between 3 - 5.15pm on 94.6FM or at radio.canstream.co.uk:8057/live.mp3. |

A couple of suggestions:-
Try QE school to see if there are any budding commentators
Bournemouth University. It is particularly renowned for its media courses and BU is recognised as the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice in the UK. So surely a student there might be interested. We did have a student previously who regularly videod our games.

I was contacted a few weeks ago by the club. They’d received an enquiry from someone wanting to commentate and passed it onto me but it’s not something I want to progress. Please send me an email and I’ll forward on the details for you to explore (or not).
