Please point me in the right direction if i've missed this, but what are the club doing to ensure there's a bumper crowd there for Saturday? I've seen next to no advertising the game on the social media channels or around the town.
With Bournemouth away from home and the baking hot weather forecasted, maybe an initiative for AFCB season tickets holders to get numbers up for the first game?

I don't see any mention of this weekends game on Twitter or Facebook.

I don't see any mention of this weekends game on Twitter or Facebook. I'm sure I heard the club had brought in some external social media expertise? Did I imagine that? If anything, from what was already a pretty low starting point, the Facebook and Twitter football related interaction has got worse. There's not so much as a flicker of activity on matchdays (you know, the events that the football club actually exists for), so I don't know what the (apparent) hundreds of £'s each month are supposed to be providing? Instead of citing a lack of volunteers, if I was spending any kind of money on a social media "service", I'd expect my provider to doing matchday updates as a minimum - it's why the club exists after all.

Surely the club aren't paying anyone for the content on our social media? It's poor at best.

Surely the club aren't paying anyone for the content on our social media? It's poor at best. The look & feel has improved I think but seems to mostly revolve around anything that isn't football, which is a strange proposition for a football club. I'd heard it was a couple of hundred quid per month but that may be wide of the mark.

If the club are paying a company to look after the website why don’t they do the same with match day Twitter ?

If the club are paying a company to look after the website why don’t they do the same with match day Twitter ? Website is woefully out of date, still advertising Verwood game, no mention of food availability before last Saturdays friendly. I only found out by accident by arriving early that you could have a full english for £8 and very good too by all accounts. Definitely some marketing opportunities being missed.

Lee has been trying to find a Twitter operator but without success. Anyone on this post who is a regular and a Twitter user is welcome to get in touch with him. I'm one of a few who offered to help but I think he wants one person to head it up.
Talking of advertising anyone know why there isn't a prominent sign on Leigh road pointing to the ground? Comment from a non regular who struggled to find the ground on Saturday.
