So today marks the final game of pre season, and even though we didn’t get the result/performance today there has m been much to be happy about,
This new team has scored a lot of goals, played some lovely quick free flowing football, the work rate of the team and how we have been hard to beat in games along the way has been great.
The press in games has been fantastic winning the ball high and allowing us to break and get shots off .
We’ve beaten Wessex teams convincingly, prem teams well and showed what we can do, what we need to guard against is complacency when we are doing well.
I think most fans that have watched all our pre season games can agree today was not like how we have performed in other games and it was a blip on a fantastic pre season all round.
The players my staff have all worked incredibly hard and are nearly ready for next Saturday at home to cinderford.
We hope to see you all there.
