Reading through some of the other threads there appears to be some confusion as to the current (new) structure of the BOD.
Perhaps Lee can clarify what the new structure is and what roles new and old members of the BOD fulfil within this structure.
Perhaps also a little insight into what each member of the BOD is responsible for and what their targets and objectives are.
I feel that this would assist the new BOD in continuing to build on the foundations they have laid with regards to communicating with supporters and would allow supporters to funnel questions and queries to the correct person.

So to clarify after discussions at our last Board meeting, everyone will remain in their current roles i.e. Tony Grant as Chairman, Adam Tovey as Vice Chairman & me as Finance Director with everyone else remaining on the board as previously stated. I could list out their various roles but I'm not sure what that adds to matters - there are a number of roles that overlap or volunteering that takes place as and when tasks arise. Adam would ideally like to be Chairman at some stage but still has much to learn and availability remains a challenge for him with a young family so continuing as we are - which we believe as a board has served us and the football club well over the last 6 months - is something we are all comfortable with.
No doubt there will be much debate regarding old board versus new board and, for some, disappointment that the old board remain so heavily involved. For me though the old / new point is not a relevant discussion moving forward. I appreciate it might suit some to show a distinction as if in some way the old board is the 'bad' days and the new board represents 'good' times going forward, but that is just to simplistic and frankly unfair on those who've given up so much time, energy and money over a number of years.
Whilst Tony and I have agreed that I 'front' a number of aspects, we very much operate as one board - with a full time job I certainly don't have the time to sort out the pitch issues that Tony & John Edwards have spent huge amounts of time on. We all simply work to our strengths ...which of course is exactly how a board should operate ...and we've combined to good effect so far.
Matters will never be perfect - we can always learn and do better - but I'd like to think that six months on we can start to move away from the distinctions.
