Well, what a game to end the season… great atmosphere, good banter, good score line and frankly some good skills… albeit aching muscles tomorrow no doubt. Is it the magic that makes Wimborne Town special? Whilst I can’t claim to have watched the squad back on 1992… my claim to fame is that Rob Beacham was our next door neighbour… And how nice to see him there with both his dad and son (wearing the original team shirt).. watching on…. A highlight for me was meeting Grahams son.. who is back from Ukraine.. I’m sure a welcome relief for Graham and his wife. And let’s hope the event raised some useful monies for those suffering in that war torn country.
Wimborne Town … a Club proud to be part of….

As someone who did see the vase final and many of the games that season today was truly special. I don't know where to start really but just seeing the old team and the more recent lads made my day. I am a true fan boy of that side and Taffy Richardson was my favourite player so his game by game analysis after the game made me feel a bit emotional if I am honest. Got a photo taken with him and some of the others. I said to taffy how much the day meant to me and he was equally enthusiastic so it was an awesome day. I'm truly blown away.
No other club in Dorset could put something like this on and I'm just super hyped for next season already.

Can someone explain why Tommy Killick has such an issue with Wimborne? From someone who cheered him on at Wembley and then chanted his name in the Square in 92 he rocked up on Saturday in his Poole Town training gear (see @cabbycrabby pictures) and then plays in Poole Town shorts in the game as per tbtv. I don’t get it. Have I missed something?
