Well, what a game to end the season… great atmosphere, good banter, good score line and frankly some good skills… albeit aching muscles tomorrow no doubt. Is it the magic that makes Wimborne Town special?
Whilst I can’t claim to have watched the squad back on 1992… my claim to fame is that Rob Beacham was our next door neighbour… And how nice to see him there with both his dad and son (wearing the original team shirt).. watching on….
A highlight for me was meeting Grahams son.. who is back from Ukraine.. I’m sure a welcome relief for Graham and his wife. And let’s hope the event raised some useful monies for those suffering in that war torn country.
