Well 1002 spectators saw a local Derby with sending offs, flares on the pitch… missed offsides, falling over for a free kick whenever the Poole players could.. and yet another game where the officials lost control of the game… and frankly turned up at the ground looking like supporters… thought the officials code expected more… but perhaps that’s changed… But, what a game to be a Wimborne supporter… another great performance from the team… after a difficult year and supporting the league from last place and being relegated… The team played really well..and with some good saves from our replacement keeper Reece Mitchell… the final result flattered Pole Town somewhat…. Off the pitch …Shame Bryan McCann ran out of tickets on the 50/50 draw… that was an error on the Club planning in my opinion… knowing that the crowd would be large…
Speaking to a number of fans many of whom were looking forward to next season… hope the BOD keep us up to date on all things WTFC related, in particular Season Tickets and reserved stand seats…
Thanks to all the volunteers that help make match day happen… Paula for being our Football Secretary and Clive and his team for making the bar happen and of course not forgetting our tea room ladies… so important.
A difficult year for James and his team, the players who have been giving their all throughout the season… some weeks better than others… but hopefully still proud to wear the Magpies shirt… and for the BOD both old and new for their direction. Let’s hope that next season sees good football, large crowds and a progressive move towards eventual promotion .. with a Club that has a solid foundation to support is in our quest for better things to come… after all it can only be a rest of four months if you’re a supporter and 70 days.. if you’re the Manager. Enjoy your rest James… !
Great to see Connal Morrison around the ground today.., he must have been up there for player of the season.. and let’s hope there’s space for him in the squad for next year.

What a day! Was stood with Dorsethammer in the first half near the main poole mob who had spent too much time in wetherspoons before the game. Their behaviour was a bit pathetic to be honest. As for the in pitch exploits we had a good go but valiantly lost 4-2. I hate Poole quite frankly and seeing the passion after the match between one of our board and Tony (rub your nose in it) Lee was great !!
We need to regroup next year and realise we are a big club at this level and not " little wimborne".
Meeting and chatting with Jason Lovell after the game as an unashamed fan boy of the 1992 vase team was bit special.
Apologies! A gallon or so Ringwood ale does blur the brain !!

Well Bezza.. alcohol on a Easter Monday… so surprised… but candidly … there was a fire in our belly wasn’t there… and if the officials had kept up with the game of play … the score line may have been different…That said the middle official didn’t have his finest game… But James and his team showed the spirit we’ve come to expect from our side… and the promise of more to come next season…

Some interesting observations from a couple of true Magpie Supporters. I can't believe the Poole Directors are happy to be folloewd by such hooligans. I believe our average attendance, after today, could be in the low 400's - almost as much as Poole's - and considering our position in the league thats a fantastic performance by supporters. Mind you how many of us fans got to vote for player of the season [ albeit that weve have probably have voted for Harry Morgan anyway] At old cuthbury someone came round and we all voted at the game near the end of season. Pretty shocking way to treat fans as I never spoken to anyone today who had voted, or known how to vote. I'm a member of the Supporters club too. Then running out of 50/50 tickets was pretty bad. Is this the old board messing things up as usual ?

Im not a fan of The Gentleman’s club that’s been our down fall this season, sooner there’s a change the better 🤍🖤⚽️ As for the player of the season Harry’s mum was up all night voting so it was only going one way 😂😂😂 for everyone who never saw the voting form it only allowed one vote per person 😉 As Arnie said on Twitter it was only going to go one way this season, he was right 🤝👋👋👋

I spoke to some people associated with the Poole Board and they dissociate with those fans. I’m not going to talk about their fans but would question why they were allowed to be at effectively the home end. In terms of so called atmosphere interesting that the people saying there isn’t any, allowed some ( a few) away idiots to bully future young Wimborne fans standing behind the goal. This was our chance to create our own atmosphere yet in my mind it was taken. Hopefully next season we can rebuild on and off the pitch. Thought the team put in another shift. There was not a lot between the teams but results as seem to be this season went against us. The table doesn’t lie and overall we clearly haven’t been good enough. It however also doesn’t tell the full story of this season. Despite our disappointing season I’m proud to be a Wimborne supporter, our fans have shown dignity and class despite the results. We have disagreed about lots of things on this forum but wherever we have been we can hold our head up high in the non league community. I’m sure we would be welcomed wherever we go. Not sure all teams could say that One more game to go! Up the mags

Very enjoyable game today, shame we couldn’t get the win but a very good derby day.
Well don’t to Harry Morgan, been the best player over the season, I must have missed the award being handed out though, was it before or after the game.
Shame a few Poole fans had to ruin it with their behaviour!!!!
I look forward to next season now and hope we can build a stronger team in the summer

We need to come back next year and realise we are not a small little club who don't deserve a place in step 3.
To see 1000 fans at the ground today was fantastic. Next season we can start winning and build an atmosphere.
I was at Hamworthy on Tuesday and looked like less than 200 were there to see them get the Wessex league trophy. Makes you realise how good our own fan base is.
Unity is formed from adversity and I hope next season we come back fighting - not literally of course!!
Non league football is the best.
Up the Mags.
Edit. I see some of the Poole fans have been reading this forum and quoting posts on twitter. This obsession with us has to to stop 😂😂😂

Hoping that next season i'll be able to start getting to more away games and really see the team flourish under James. Hopefully we can get the squad assembled nice and early, so they have a full pre-season together. With the amount of local teams in the league next year we need to make sure Wimborne at the front of the queue and be pro-active. The club can't afford to just potential targets slide away this season. Hoping i'll be able to get to Chesham to see off this season. Bring on 22/23!!

Great to see so many people at the game on Monday. Some really bad decisions from the Ref but overall a good performance from the team for the last home game of the season. I agree with Bezza, if we start well next season, the fans will come and create a good atmosphere. Looking forward to it.

This is what non league football is about, plus the fantastic mood in the clubhouse after even though we had been beaten. The 'odd beer or two' enjoyed with a good old chinwag group of supporters (real Wimborne ones I mean, not bloody idiots throwing flares and burning flags as the opposition ones did). Good luck team, dont lose heart against Chesham on Saturday, we will still be supporting you next season, because we are supporters of WTFC
