Just watched the vase final, great stuff. Next season could well be our year again. Aim large!! The FA Vase is for sides competing at step 5 and below... The southern league Div 1 West operates at step 4 in the pyrimid so we are not eligible for the FA Vase... For us it will be the FA Trophy.

Yes true the FA Vase is now for teams competing at Step 5 and below. But when we won the Vase I believe there were teams from higher league's than the Wessex.
Another interesting point is that Forest Green Rovers won the Vase in 1982 and then went on to become the first Vase winner to get into the English Football League in 2017 when they won the National League play offs. This season they have been promoted to League 1 for next season.

Let’s cancel the old fashioned individual view od dog access to the club nouse… forgive me… but I think it shows a very narrow view of income potential. OK ban from the. artificial pitch area.. and even ban on home match days… BUT the club miss out on the ‘canine pound’ from responsible dog walkers/owners… I mean .. a couple of coffees and a piece of cake.. could see £1-0 per customer… think we are missing out on incremental income….. rethink, review and invite responsible dog owners… Claire what do think? 🤓

We could have a tie post outside and a drinking bowl or something, the income value is something to consider, so a very fair point. No jokes please about bitter or lager available on the drinking bowl!
