So the final Saturday game of the season at the New Cuthbury and what a fantastic performance by the squad. An upbeat game from Wimborne, hard and physical game from HW… (expected), but we certainly were a match for them… Await Grahams great report and the stats… but seems we had more of the play… closed them down so well and put in the tackles that count.
The skirmish in our goal mouth in the 2nd half saw indecisions from the match official… but we’ll down to our lads for keeping their cool… well relatively.. Not Mr Hobbs best game for sure…
But how good to see the team applauded off the pitch by supporters followed by an upbeat atmosphere in the club house afterwards… If ever there was any doubt about management, tactics, players ability and the Club in general.. this game showed everything is possible without management changes - as called for by a minority.
Sad to see Connal Morrison injured and possibly out for the remaining games…but supporting the team.. he’s run his heart out all season, given 100% every game very committed and respected by the supporters.
Finally… how great was it to see Grahams grandson at the game today… A young person that has been through so much, escaping the war zone in Ukraine, now attending a local school and of course no doubt now supporting the Magpies.

Totally agree. Played some good football and deservedly won today. Sun was shining and the Ringwood 49er slipping down nicely. Plus, 332 in attendance with nothing to play for. Showcasing the potential for this club.
Personally, it was nice to meet two regulars from this forum and putting a face to a username. Meeting fellow fans and having a chat and beer is what it's all about.
We all have our own views on what has gone wrong this year but ultimately we're all fans who love our club. It was well worth the two and a half mile walk plus bus journey from West Moors ( Dorset public transport is such a joke, why can't you get a bus from canford bottom down Leigh road??) Today !!

Yes a great performance by the team today, all the lads put in such a shift and worked so hard to press and put in numerous tackles all over the pitch. Gerard was back to his best in goal, not just with the important saves but the great distribution. Hard to pick people out as lots of good performances but a special word for Lewis Beale up front who works tirelessly every single game and deserved his goal today, great finish as well.
Ref was poor and the opposition number 2 got away with throwing punches in the melee.
Noticeable things today that were such a big improvement from the past few weeks, we got more shots off on goal, but also looked like a team working for each other and were a bit more vocal, with a noticeable influence from the experienced John White.
I can only echo your sentiments regarding Graham’s grandson, I hope that he enjoyed the game and is settling into his new local school 😊

Very enjoyable game today, good weather, good all round performance and 3 points, we’ll done to all the players and staff involved.
I thought gerrard was excellent, I though Louis Kellaway was superb today as well.
I wonder if and what the management did different today/this week to get the lads to play like that.
Maybe graham grandson is a good luck charm.

Gemma … we might be at odds over so many things… but when it comes to humanity we are all one voice…. Just wanted to support you in that… See we do have things in common 🤣 Understand Gerrard got MOM from todays sponsors…:but there were a number of candidates….

I see in today's non league paper we pulled in more fans than seven of our rivals yesterday including Dorch. After 2 previous home wins all season in the league and relegation being confirmed on Tuesday I think that's pretty remarkable. Go us !

Great picsSteve… just think the one of Graham and his grandson…. brings things together… Graham this could be used as a follow up to your last info on things in Ukraine…perhaps how the money collected was used…. So good to see your grandson smiling …. how wonderful that our last Saturday home game brought us 3 points and a nice smile to his face….

A superb battling and gritty performance. People can say what you like about whether the team is good enough or not, but its clear that the players were still playing for the manager and themselves. Everything was put on the line to win that game. Well done Wimborne!!
