After a promising start by the Magpies when Lewis Beale put them in the lead after 13 minutes thereafter Harrow took charge of the game especially with the skill of former Newcastle Utd player Ben Al-Mhanni who scored two and the other two by Goode. So another embarrasing defeat - [ and in case no one realised we are definitely relegated after the Dorchester defeat]
There was no information on twitter [e.g. starting lineup] so got the above info by listening to Radio Wimborne. Another excellent commentary by Owen

To try and keep us all cheerful here is Dorset Dave's effort in tonights Chuckle Corner section of the Programme:-
Harrow is a large suburban town in Greater London, England. It serves as the principal settlement of the London Borough of Harrow, lying about 10.5 miles northwest of Charing Cross, and 5.4 miles south of Watford. Historically in Middlesex, Harrow was a municipal borough before it became a part of Greater London in 1965. Harrow-on-the-hill is a conservation area with listed buildings of Georgian Architecture. Harrow's name comes from Old English hearg = "(heathen) temple", which was probably on the hill of Harrow, where St. Mary's Church stands today . Harrow is 104 miles from Wimborne Minster Harrow is home to a large University of Westminster campus and Harrow School, a public school for boys which was founded in 1572. So here are some examples of what students put in their exam papers:-
"When you breath, you inspire. When you do not breath, you expire."
"H2O is hot water, and CO2 is cold water"
"When you smell an odorless gas, it is probably carbon monoxide
"Water is composed of two gins, Oxygin and Hydrogin. Oxygin is pure gin. Hydrogin is gin and water."
"Three kinds of blood vessels are arteries, vanes and caterpillars."
"Respiration is composed of two acts, first inspiration, and then expectoration."
"The moon is a planet just like the earth, only it is even deader."
"Dew is formed on leaves when the sun shines down on them and makes them perspire."
"A super-saturated solution is one that holds more than it can hold."
"Mushrooms always grow in damp places and so they look like umbrellas."
"The body consists of three parts- the brainium, the borax and the abominable cavity. The brainium contains the brain, the borax contains the heart and lungs, and the abominable cavity contains the bowels, of which there are five - a, e, i, o, and u."
"The pistol of a flower is its only protections against insects."
"The alimentary canal is located in the northern part of Scotland."
"The skeleton is what is left after the insides have been taken out and the outsides have been taken off. The purpose of the skeleton is something to hitch meat to.
"The tides are a fight between the Earth and moon. All water tends towards the moon, because there is no water in the moon, and nature abhors a vacuum. I forget where the sun joins in this fight."
"A fossil is an extinct animal. The older it is, the more extinct it is."
"Equator: An imaginary lion running around the Earth through Africa."
"Germinate: To become a naturalized German."
"Magnet: Something you find crawling all over a dead cat."
"Momentum: What you give a person when they are going away."
"Planet: A body of Earth surrounded by sky."
"Rhubarb: A kind of celery gone bloodshot."
"Vacuum: A large, empty space where the Pope lives."
"For a nosebleed: Put the nose much lower then the body until the heart stops."
"To keep milk from turning sour: Keep it in the cow."

You would have thought somebody would have logged in to the twitter account to at least advise there would be no updates. Roll on the end of the season.

A very promising start, but as soon as Harrow scored there was only going to be one winner. Heads dropped. Harrow had more desire, wanted to win the game more than we did & were stronger. It says a lot when our best two players were our centre backs who I believe are both over 35!. Our midfield were bullied. Scared to tackle, scared of getting hurt and lacked any quality on the ball.
The re-build can't come quick enough. I'm very interested to see who James is planning on keeping around for next season.
Also, thanks to the gentleman who did come up and have a chat last night. Some great opinions, although not the same as mine, but that's what it's all about!

Who do you think James should keep, I was at the opinion that 9/10 players should be kept but I think it will be less than that now on the games being played.

Well if there was any doubt about relegation that now seems to be settled as well as finishing above last place in the case of some sort of reprive. Worst form across all of the southern league and heading for one of the lowest points total in the league the last ten years. I can certainly support those who are glad to see the end of this season.

Roll on the summer and what I expect to be a big overhaul of the squad

Good report, as usual, of last nights game Graham.. and an open interview with James….. It was a good first half and then the second 45 minutes came… and a couple of defence errors made a difference in the score…. They were a good side, fast, hard, committed and their number 7 George Moore… made a big influence in the squad and their ability to ,find acres of space around the pitch… their keeper also did well - to be fair…. That said the first 15 minutes saw us play very well and perform well overall in the first half. But Harrow did show us how to play at this level. Perhaps the official in the middle could have had a better second half…… A low attendance… 129 seemed rather a low count… would have thought 200 seemed more like it… that said I felt there was an element of atmosphere, OK the Old Cuthbury was special.. 🤣… and music… it’s been there all year… a little too loud at times… maybe that’s an age thing….
James good luck in the summer months in your quest to make your new squad for next season… There seems to be some good names in the hat…. hopefully the new BOD and you and your team can do your magic and confirm their signing.

Mowerman let's hope lack of budget doesn't scupper the chances of securing these signings. What's your expectations next season?

Enjoyable football, good skills, regular 3 points per game and fewer negative comments of our management team on these pages.. I know not asking for much… BUT as I’ve said before I’m a half full guy… And Clive stop raising the price of a pint…😱 Is that laying out my minimum requirements.. Not surprisingly I’m fully behind our BOD and management team… and I would like to see in year one a top half position and then year two the playoffs and hopefully promotion… No pressure James and your team and our new players.

I agree… but as I understand it… monies will be available at the start of the season… I mean James and his team need the investment in players upfront… and discussion’s I’ve heard seem this will happen. .. Recently heard that a WTFC stalwart player…who had agreed to sign for us… joined Poole for £25 extra and then found it wasn’t working out and then joined a certain North Dorset team… These are real everyday issues…. Keep going James… stay focussed …. so many real supporters behind you….
