I thought I would start a thread so we can keep an eye on who has committed to the club for the 2022/23 season.
Den Scorey Dan Barlett Harry Morgan

I was under the impression Lewis Beale was contracted too Yogi or is that just for this season?

I think those 3 signings are great business and can become the foundations of building a competitive squad. Well done to all involved for getting these players on board for next season.

Looks like central midfield is sorted for next season, with Morgan playing in front of Bartlett and Scorey? Also noticed that Lee mentioned they were trying to sign another player up, but may have to wait until the summer to do so.

We have 11 games to play i would like to see the fringe players given a chance for a contract next seasons squad, should also offload a few who have been extremely disappointing.

Oh okay sorry I mistook what you meant as the likes of connal curt bealey etc I imagined as squad players for this current season and not fringe players but yes agreed I guess James mark and the bod have to decide how many more of them they need to keep

I would like to see Curtis Young playing for us next season. He has always given 100 per cent and apart from Arnie was the only senior player to sign for us from the pre-covid days

We have a few fringe players at other clubs like Cam Smith & Jake Carswell both at Verwood. The lad Joe Freak played a couple of games for 1st team and I see he is leading goalscorer in his league again this season, why not give him the chance to see if he can cut it and have a good look at him for next year, looks like he can score goals which we have struggled with.
His younger brother Lewis is a solid defender so why not try him, he couldn't do any worse than Tuesdays night performance...by all accounts has a huge throwing we could use.
Let's see these lads for 8 - 10 games as we are nailed on to be relegated. It could save us a fortune for next season if the flourish?

I agree with what you're saying 'ArsenalFan', but they've had chances. Joe Freak played in the league cup and recently in the Dorset Cup v Hamworthy. Jake Carswell and Cam Smith played numerous times in the first team earlier in the season. They're not the answer.

You beat me to it, they are not the answer, a long way off it actually if we go down and want a realistic chance of going up, totton in the league below have ex Weymouth players from national league and you want to go head to head with them with dev likes like joe freak.

There is no point in having the academy,or reserve side then is there.
So much for the players pathway
Least you will save money by not having to enter teams in different leagues and cups because you won't attract younger players.
I hope the new board have a ton of money to buy these superstars you lot are hoping for.
