The following is copied from DC email which informs the public how well the Council is doing and where roadworks can be expected. Residents will still expect to get in and out of Parmiter Road/Way but DC advises 24 hours closure on some days & nights. Odds on that a previous rained-off game will be scheduled for Tuesday March 29th.

Parmiter Estate, Wimborne

roads closed 9am to 4pm on 25 March

24-hour closure on 28, 29 and 30 March

roads closed 9am to 4pm on 31 March to 5 April

Its a pity they couldn't have waited until the route through the adjoining estate had been opened. It's all set to go. There was a dispute between Wyatt Homes and David Wilson homes to get that opened - not sure if that's been settled. In due course Parmiter Drive will be closed off to through traffic and all traffic will have to go through the next door estate anyway.
