Not too much of an insult to the young man. You should be thankful Wimborne can get this calibre of player from a pro club whilst in its current predicament. Just don't expect him to come in and save the world. He's decent - not a miracle worker. You don't remember a 'sheltered' 16yr old Billy Terrell keeping your club in the FA Cup? There's a reason these lads are at pro clubs. It's OK to admit you have no idea about football, lol. *** my bad, Billy was 17. So much more experienced, lol. *** No criticism of Billy at all as he was excellent for us and is not the subject of my post. You need to take off those 'rose tinted glasses' regarding pro club academy football as you must know that very few of them ever make it beyond being third year scholars and are released back into the real football world, totally broken unless they can be auctioned off. Our team already has a number of them 'on board' who are helping us with our current position of being on the verge of relegation !

Thanks for the update, good to hear that he looks impressive, he’s certainly highly rated by AFC Bournemouth fans that have seen him play. I think the under 18’s league finishes very early, they may even only have 1 or 2 games left so who knows maybe we’ll see another player or two. Just out of interest, is the training session open for all to watch?

He’s not in the u18 Gemma he’s with the u23 team if you look at their website. 2 weeks ago you didn’t want to renew your season ticket, said you weren’t going to any more away games maybe not doing home games and now you want to watch training? Have I missed something somewhere along the line to make you want to watch training sessions???

And you weren’t going to post on here anymore because you didn’t like me telling you how rude you were for telling me that me and my family weren’t welcome and should all go and watch Poole Town….. but here you are stirring as usual. I was asking about training because I thought my 2 boys might enjoy it and actually on a serious note, an ‘open’ training session might be a sensible idea to bring the fans and management closer together following recent disgruntlement, including from myself. Reasons being that it would be an opportunity to see the sort of things that they are working on and the effort going in, and a chance for the youngsters to chat to the players afterwards, get autographs etc. Maybe something for the club to think about doing in the future like a few pro clubs do?

I wasn’t, but someone can’t remember who asked me not to leave so I thought id respond to bits that didn’t make sense to me. How would a open session make the management and fans closer? Why would they want you there watching potentially moaning that you don’t like the way the put training on like you moan about the games, why don’t your kids chat to management and get autographs at games like 99% of fans at premier league teams? I guess if you did go and watch training then they could put a face to the name and know who it is that doesn’t support the team/management

I think its a good idea, I've seen quite a few teams at our level and below. The board are taking about improving engagement, so I think it would great. Also seeing the management at work would probably help dispell the myth that they aren't competent.

What would you like to see them doing, do you have coaching badges or ex playing knowledge to know what is and isn’t a good session?
