A fairly even game.Either side could have won it . Other results generally went our way with Kings Langley and Merthyr losing and Dorch drawing.
I did hear some rumours during half time. Jamie Henry has apparently left and a rumour that Billy Maybury has left after a disagreement. He was man of the match in the last home game ! The expression 'Rats deserting a sinking ship' comes to mind perhaps ?

A game lacking in quality but could have gone either way, Wimborne had a little spell of pressure in the second half whilst Lewis made a couple of good saves at the other end. Was a definite penalty not given to Walton at the end of the game, but we are due a bit of luck aren’t we! 😊
The club had already announced that Jamie Henry had left, no fall out as far as I’m aware, just that he wanted more regular game time.
Chatting to others in the bar, Billy didn’t turn up to training or the game today, so has let the team and his teammates down as far as I’m concerned and shouldn’t play again?

Didn’t think you were going anymore now they announced that the management was staying on?

Didn’t think you were going anymore now they announced that the management was staying on? I’ve never said that, I said that I wouldn’t be buying season tickets next season. I’ve also said many times, that I want the team to win, I desperately want them to stay up and I would love nothing more than for Stokoe to prove me wrong. I still have doubts but I will support and cheer them on nevertheless, as you would expect from a supporter who cares about the club.

Sorry my mistake I thought you said after the Hayes game you wouldn’t be doing away games and your not sure about home games, then after you reaction to the announcement I thought you wouldn’t watch anymore. I apologise for my mistake in the way I took it.

My first game at the new gaff.
My short thoughts on the team and performance. They tried, it didn't look as if they weren't trying for Stokes and Gambo. Lots of running and commitment.
They lack muscle in the team, some big boys. The Walton side had some big units and held off our lads with ease.
Comments here before have said they lack quality and yes I can see that, lack of skill on display but no lack of endeavour.
Few clear cut chances but they tried and I think most supporters of any team want to see that.

From what I saw of the game Walton were slightly better and could of won it late on with what, in my opinion, was a definite penalty shout that the ref and linesman both 'bottled' ! Thought our stand in keeper also looked very uncomfortable under pressure and the sooner Benfield is back the better. Just need's to learn to keep his trap shut !

Connel Morrison has a lot of passion for the team. But it sometimes overflows into berating the officials quite angrily. I was a bit worried yesterday he was going to get a card of some sort for it.

Here's James Langdon's report. When it's been posted on the club's website, then we'll add the link. Attachment Deleted
