Just goes to show clubs pushing the button when league status is in jeopardy. However that seemed like a terrible appointment in first place. No credentials for the job other than a good playing career which we all know doesn't exactly translate Into management.

Would assume that Sean O Driscoll who is there in a coaching capacity will take the reins for the remainder of the season and possibly longer.

Can’t see Sean taking it personally, hasn’t he managed Brian at a couple of clubs, surely he wouldn’t do that to him.

Matty was a good player and made a good job with us. Brian is a good person. Perhaps weymouth was not the right first mgt post. I think he has a lot to offer. Ideal for wtfc

Sean has left according to Jordan Clarke on Twitter, another thing the wise old yogi hasn’t got right again I didn't claim to know the answer hence the use of the word 'assume' I based my opinion on the fact that SoD was already at the club and would have been a great appointment. If you read the Weymouth fans forum you will observe that I am not the only person with this opinion.

I have read it and they all hoping the same as you mentioned but as in my previous post it’s about loyalty to Brian that he wouldn’t take the job on. Your right you did use the word assume, but again you assumed wrong

Matter Closed!!!

Ideal for wtfc Not sure why you are saying he's a good person unless you are a friend campaigning for him to get a job that's not vacant. It's completely subjective and not relevant to his ability to the the job. Aside from I believe coaching young players whats relevant credentials does he have that makes him better than the current manager. Not sure getting dismissed after a torid time in his first job stands out on the CV. If we are to change manager, which despite my thoughts doesn't look like it's going happen. Extensive knowledge and winning experience of our current league and certainly below which there is a good chance we are going to end up is imperative. Weymouth made an appointment based on perceived profile and look how that worked out.

Just because Sean is at Weymouth you think he’s going to stay and be manager?? Or that our current management team isn’t good enough when working on a shoestring budget, or what you think the club isn’t doing regarding to the pitch problems. Yes like everyone your entitled to your opinion but you back nothing up with any sort of evidence that you know what your talking about.

So what you are saying is that anyone who has an opinion which is different to yours is wrong. You need to learn how to respect other peoples opinions and understand how someone could easily come to the conclusions that they do. If you take the time to read my recent posts you will see that since the takeover I have mainly been very supportive of the new BoD and management team and support their efforts to improve the club and the playing staff, however, this doesn't fit your agenda. This will be my final posting on this thread as I cannot be bothered to waste anymore time on a person who lacks the ability to see other persons point of view.

Keep going Yogi. You make this Forum interesting reading. And Wimborne Fan it's good to have your views too. This is what a Forum is all about - people with differing views on a particular situation.
Brian was a good footballer like Matty. So it didn't work out for him at Weymouth. Look who we have in their first mgt posts and where is wtfc sitting in the league . Enough said
They were both excellent footballers and I watched Brian a lot when he was at Bournemouth, Matty did well at Wimborne in the league below with a good budget and being full time in his role as manager, same a Brian was at Weymouth.
