Me and the family went to the Verwood game for our footie fix today due to the waterlogged pitch at New Cuthbury.

When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Cameron Smith, Jake Carswell, Louis McWilliams and Joe Freak were playing for the home side, so I was just wondering whether we have any sort of official link up between us and them to get the young lads more minutes? Or have they left or their own accord? (Hopefully not)

Verwood’s long-standing manager, Adie Arnold, called it quits just before Xmas. If you’d also looked at the dugout, you’d have seen the (what I’m guessing are now ex) Reserves management team.

Sounds like it was a decent game though and was my first pick when the Wimborne match was cancelled. Circumstances led me to Hamworthy instead and it was more a battle of attrition.

Thanks for that Tony, I had no idea! Would be a shame if we have lost Darren and Danny and I guess they’d look to take a few players with them. Can anyone from the club confirm and if so then who will be managing the development squad going forwards?
