I read somewhere that Turkish midfielder Arda Turan, pays all the electricity bills for the block of flats where he used to live. We all know about Marcus Rshford and it got me thinking about what other footballers give to Charity. I expect we've all been amazed at the eye watering money some footballers earn so its nice to known that Juan Mata has set up a Charity to encourage Managers and Players to give 1% of their earnings to his charity. So far he has recruited 120 people. More on a few of those footballers who do charity work:-

I would rather see 1% of local Premiership and Championship players wages re-invested into local grassroots football.
