I have been doing a bit of research looking at other clubs at our level and what they offer for a match day package. It seems to me given the lack of take up perhaps we could look to offer more affordable packages for those like myself who would gladly sponsor a match ball or a game. Some clubs offer a deal for as little as 75 pound that includes admission for two and snacks in the board room prior to the game and half time and perhaps a drinks voucher.. No messing about with the cost and time it takes to prepare a hot meal. Perhaps a finger buffet or something for an additional charge. There could always be an opportunity for offering a package to anyone who is interested per fan which could be open to perhaps 10 fans a game so the cost isn't borne by a company or one person. Player sponsorship perhaps could be more affordable. If we can't attract large sponsorship this could be a way forward. If the games for the rest of the season were more affordable and there was more variation in the deals offered I'm sure this could kick-start sponsorship. There is also sponsor a part of the pitch for the season. Say 25 pound a square. I'm sure this forum could come up with plenty of ideas.

Whist sponsorship and match day revenue is important and there are many ways that this could be increased there is a ceiling to what can be raised at 20/30 home games per season... it is also restricted to what supporters can afford and how often you ask the same people to contribute.
I am sure that going forward the BoD will look to increase match day revenue, however the most likely course of action will be looking to increase business sponsorship and generating revenue from the clubhouse and facilities as this revenue stream is available 365 days per year.

Completely get that the big money is with corporate sponsorship and clubhouse revenue but making this kind of stuff accessible to the average punter is a no brainer for me.

Hamworthy Utd & New Milton Town both run their commercial/sponsorship streams very well in my opinion and, as you suggest, making things a little more affordable, or providing more flexible packages, may well generate more interest.
There is a lot that could be done right now, just by bundling up offerings that already exist as single products & offering them as attractive packages. Not everybody (Lee included!) wants to sit down with a tie on in the boardroom or have tea & biscuits at halftime - that’s all a bit old school.
From my perspective, sitting outside of the tent, there’s seems to be no shortage of ideas or (I assume) people who would get on with it and at least trial a few ideas. All that seems to be missing is the empowerment/instruction to get on and do it. Lack of bodies shouldn’t be an issue.
