A while ago Rumandmonkey informed us that: "Only two are to be relegated from our league now.
Then out of the teams that stay up, the team with the worst points per game ratio from across the four leagues at step 3 will be also relegated."
I've looked back at the last completed season, 2018-19, to see how many points the teams at step 3, our level, gained to finish 4th from bottom.
Isthmian League: 43 points from 42 games
Northern Premier League: 41 points from 40
Southern League Central: 47 from 42
Southern League South: 50 from 42.
Totalling those four comes to 181 points from 166 games, that's an average of 1.09 points per game.
For us to average 1.09 points per game this season we'll need 42 x 1.09 = 46 points.
Currently we have 8 points from 19 games.
That means we'll need another 38 points from 23 games, an average of 1.65 points per game.
In those 23 games, how could we achieve that in terms of wins, draws, losses?
Winning 7, drawing 16, and losing none gives us only 37 more points.
W8, D14, L1 = 38 more points
W9, D11, L3 = 38 more points
W10, D8, L5 = 38 more points, etc.
So if we are to avoid relegation, it's going to be a terrific rest of the season.
Bring it on!

It would be a huge ask for us to avoid relegation now. Would the new investors be throwing good money after bad ? Would it be better for them to consolidate From the figures given we would have to put in a top of the table performance every week to stay up
