In advance of Graham’s report that was very promising! Could have nicked it at the end but for a worldly save off a shot from Lewis Beale and a curling shot by Rose just missing the post!

I wasn’t at the game yesterday but it sounded very promising and a good game from a Wimborne perspective, it also looks like we could/should have got all 3 points.
What was the thoughts of everyone that went and why have we had nonpaiase for the boys after a good point but very quick to moan when we don’t get anything

First half despite going behind we showed a fight and a willingness to get back in the game. Going behind again so soon after equalising could have ended the game but we kept on playing. For all the doubters we should have won this game against a team that sits second in the table. They were not better than us. They weren’t better than us at the new Cuthbury a few weeks ago apart from a lax few minutes at the start of each half. We play Gosport on Saturday who similarly weren’t that much better than us a week or so ago. A few training sessions between then and now and we can beat them. I have seen enough in this team home and away to know they are better than their current position. Pack the ground on Saturday, shout and sing if you can. Let’s get behind this team and as wimbornefan says let’s hear the good things as well as when it goes wrong #believe

Sounds like a brilliant result, well done to the team! Just out of curiosity, i saw in Grahams report that the attendance was 118. Roughly how many of those were Wimborne supporters? I've not been able to attend many away games the past few years and wondered if we were well supported away from home.
A very tough run of games coming up, but if we can match teams like this then i believe we have a chance of staying in this league.
Looking forward to Saturday.

Just to be clear and I certainly that want to cause any controversy here or appear negative, I wasn’t at the game so I wont comment on subjective opinions on the performance. However I was delighted with the point gained which in isolation is a good result. However this is what my initial point about on this forum, that unfortunately narrow defeats and gallant draws are somewhat of an irrelevance given our league position and now our finances. The only thing really tangibly achieved from the result, was that we aren’t more significantly further adrift from those above us. I understand for a few of you on here the that your viewpoint is that we must stick with the current manager regardless of results and if it ends in relegation then so be it. That is your prerogative. But I can’t shy away from the fact that if we now have the funds to compete at this level and we certainly have the facilities, then putting your support of the management irrespective of results, before your support the club the is not something I or those we’ve recently encountered at the games can subscribe to. There is simply too much at stake, and I believe the time for back slapping and congratulations for isolated results has long since gone as our future is now in jeopardy. This isn’t youth football or amateur football, the staff and players are paid, and paid to deliver results and unfortunately whatever the circumstances they have been in very short supply and now our short term future is at stake. So I will continue to hope and pray we can string a sustained series of wins together and escape the mess we are in. And if we do I certainly will be the first to offer my apologies for having doubt in the management/team. If this considered being negative then I can only apologise. But let’s hope Saturday was the start of the tide turning, roll on Saturday. I can’t see how any change now will turn anything around. Both James and Mark have been given a budget but it’s not a magic button. A team cannot gel in my opinion and turn results round by chucking decent players into the team. There was a marked improvement in the whole teams play probably brought about by a couple of training sessions together. I’m not naive enough to know this is a tough battle but what I do know is that the willingness and passion to keep this team up is strong by the playing management. Rightly this is my opinion and I’m not saying it’s right. That’s the beauty of football and why we all talk about it on here. If we didn’t have different views and everyone thought West Ham are massive it would be very boring! Bring on Saturday and let’s see what happens!
