Just a reminder there is a chance to meet the new Board members on Monday 13th December at 7pm.
We'll provide an update on our current and medium term plans and endeavour to answer any questions you may have ...suffice to say we're only 2 weeks in so we won't have all the answers yet but we'll be as open we can.

Lee
I fully appreciate the need for confidentiality on some issues but is there any possibility that some of the key Q&A can be posted on here after the meeting on Monday 13th... I am sure that there will be a number of surporters keen to hear what plans you have but will be unable to attend.

Can't make it, unfortunately. Hope someone will ask about the pitch drainage, and what is being done to get the contractor to fix it.

Happy to confirm that Lee has accepted my offer to having this session recorded. I’ll then summarise it down into a short video which the club can post onto it’s YouTube channel.

I'm sure we're all pleased to know that it was TBTV Tony who filmed the meeting - if it had been me I'd have probably managed to get some wind in the audio even though it was indoors. Here's what I thought were the main points: Steve Rimmington, Dan Witcher, Wayne Jones, Graham Bell, Tony Grant, Lee Merrifield, John Edwards and Adam Tovey sat at the top table. Adam will take over as Chairman in the summer. Terry Wateridge remains as a Director. Martin Higgins is the other new Director. Lee did most of the talking, and fielded the questions. - Adam, Lee and Martin are here for a minimum of 4 years; - they are providing funds with the intention of staying in this league this season, "if we can" - they'll review the situation in the new year; - the new Board will have its first meeting on Thursday when responsibilities will be allocated; - when asked what the top 3 priorities are, Lee said: "1. First team 2. Understanding how the Club works 3. Commercial aspects"; - discussions are being held with all parties involved to sort the flooding issues with the pitch, which is now out of 'warranty'; - communication with fans will be improved - Lee mentioned the unofficial fans forum in a complimentary way a number of times - I think he opened the door to this forum being officially recognised, if we want; he is clearly open to suggestions from supporters; - the Board will look into admission prices for the re-scheduled Weston-super-Mare game - "pay what you want" will be considered. Jack Tanner (Poole and Daily Echo) was present, so there might be an article in the Echo. Salisbury's secretary was also there. I'd estimate the audience at about 60: James, Mark & Matt from the management team (that's 4 evenings on WTFC business for them this week); two under 16s; maybe ten people of working age; five ladies; but mostly retired blokes.

That's excellent, thanks for covering the main points and I look forward to seeing Tony's recording of events (hopefully without wind in the audio :-) )
With regards to the forum being recognised, that is a massive step forward and demonstrates the new BoDs willingness to engage with fans and utilise social media channels, however I think that the forum should remain "unofficial" but with a link on the clubs website.
To get 60 attendees demonstrates just how many people care about what happens to our club and that we all want to see it grow and prosper into a successful club.
Thank you Adam, Lee and Martin for giving us the opportunity to do this...
Wherever this journey takes us, lets enjoy the ride and get behind the on and off field teams.

Thank you Graham for your report - and thank you for Tony for filming it. Look forward to seeing it in due course. Glad to hear the new Board were complimentary toward this forum - which I agree with Yogi should remain unofficial - and a link from the club website would be appreciated but not neccesarily essential. Many of us are still smarting at the way fans have been treated in the past.
But we must let bygones be bygones and start afresh and give the new Board a chance. It is refreshing to know the fans and the Board could be in unison again. As the slogan says " Directors, Managers and Players Come & Go - BUT A FAN IS FOREVER"

Was there any mention of supporters sponsoring a player/member of staff for £100? It still says you can do this on the club website but you can't seem to find any player etc who has been sponsored. I know DorsetDave sponsored Curtis Young for instance.

Best with me. I’m about halfway through but my day job keeps getting in the way …
There’s a fair amount of repetition, so I’m trying to condense it down.

discussions are being held with all parties involved to sort the flooding issues with the pitch, which is now out of 'warranty'; Have the club taken legal advice? I'm no expert, but surely the club couldn't have known of the flooding issue given that there was basically no football allowed on the pitch during the "warranty" period?

I know DorsetDave sponsored Curtis Young for instance. Yes, it was mentioned. Lee was clearly not impressed with the difficulty people were having in doing this. I expect it's something he'll try to sort quickly.

I wish everyone well. Let bygones be bygones. I just hope it's not too late to avoid relegation. I watched the Robble Savage documentary, it's exactly the way Wimborne fc should go, and in some cases it seems that is what they are doing. I hope the stewarts and grants don't get in the way. Whilst they maybe described as the fabric of the club I have to say, not an era to be proud of
