It sounds like from Graham’s interview with James that there might be some players coming in soon. What’s everyone’s thoughts on what we need?

There is a midfielder on loan from weymouth coming in plus louis.not sure about Louis availability given he is a policeman.i would say a foil for Lewis beale and another centre half.if we could get all players fit we have more than enough numbers.its if the quality is good enough.i see king langley beat hayes so we are quite adrift although I think only two go down.covid permitting.

I have been reading all the responses. The saddest thing, the board had years to plan for the move. Years to plan in how to structure the club especially to take advantage of the new facilities and pitch. Unfortunately, they still run the club as their own little toy. With exception to Mr Bell. The rest should go, they nearly brought the club down last time and are now doing a fine job repeating themselves. With the greatest respect to Stokoe and gambo, they are just not up for the job. It was the easiest and cheapest option for the board. Matty offered his services and was turned down. Time to go Grant and company..

It I time for some new blood in the board your right, something definitely needs to change. With regards to Stoke and gambo, I think that’s a bit harsh, how do you come to that conclusion. The money they have brought in via cup runs and where they were last season when the season ended showed they can do the job, they just haven’t been given enough tools this season as the fans forum and this forum has said. Also where have you heard that Matty offered his services, if that’s the case and after the club let danny go for (in Ken’s words lying about who was signing) why wouldn’t the club re hire him, sounds like this could be fabricated lie

Are you offering your services keep up? Unless somebody comes forward there is nobody else offering.as for James and gambo.there is nobody who could work harder or do a better job with the tools and budget they have.we are lucky to have them.

Off course he’s not, there are so many in here who moan and don’t offer to help, I’m sure stokes and gambo put in countless hours away from the ground and who would/could do any better with the limitations they have been out under by the club? Matty had more money and still stepped away when it wasn’t going well and the team was struggling in a weaker league

Usual predictable replies. Heard it from Matty himself. Matty and Danny are as honest as the day is long. You choose who you wish to believe in. I have huge respect for stokes and gambo, just don't think they are the right choice. My opinion.. Doesn't hold any weight.

You like everyone is entitled to their opinion, right or wrong, what’s stokes not doing you want him to? He’s done more in cup and won more money than anyone in years which is massive for the club, okay league form thus season isn’t good but budget allows for Wessex players in southern prem league, what more do you want them to do?

It’s easy to keep blaming injuries and budget (and yes I get that it’s a tough budget to work with) and I don’t doubt for 1 second that James and Gambo are great guys that are giving it 100 percent and trying their best, but….. any team that has only won 1 game out of 16 league games, performing poorly and crowds dwindling is bound to lead to questions regarding the management team.
For what it’s worth, as much as I’d love them to prove me wrong and go on to be a huge success, I do think that something has to change to try and bring a change of fortunes and momentum, at the moment the team is only heading one way.
Also I know that being a fan is all about supporting ur team through thick and thin, and me and the family will certainly keep doing that, but it’s also a hard watch at the moment and it’s not a nice feeling turning up expecting to lose. Naturally floating supporters and those that have shown an interest in the team because of the new stadium will stop attending, so where do u draw the line or do u just keep going as we are and accept that we aren’t good enough and just drop down without a fight?

Fair points Gemma, and yeah injuries and budget is a problem, do you think a new manger coming in with the current injury to players will make any difference, do you think the will be able to persuade players from rival teams to drop money to come to Wimborne? Did the team when it had a near full 11 perform well against a team 3rd in the league? Do you think the players have stoped playing for the management? Or is it just that they budget doesn’t allow for quality players for this level? Do you not think rather than come expecting to lose you should come and try and help creat a atmosphere in the ground to help the team out?

Excuse me, we do all come to the ground to try and help the team out thank you, otherwise we’d be like the others that have stopped attending and we wouldn’t bother. Look you can absolutely carry on watching with your rose tinted glasses on, but the fact of the matter is that we play some games and have circa 40 shots against us whilst we don’t cross the half way line, we have 7 points from a possible 48 points, we are 9 points away from safety and it’s no coincidence that whomever we have in goal tends to be man of the match every week. For what it’s worth sometime a new voice in the changing room, new tactics, new coaching, new contacts does do wonders or maybe you are right and nobody can do better than what are currently going through. In my opinion it’s worth rolling the dice, as I’m desperate for a turn of fortunes and to try and stay in the division.

It’s not rise tinted glasses but if the players are not good enough for the level does it really matter who’s in charge? A lot of the games we’ve had to play player that have come out of the development squad, (jake regan particularly) plus players out of the Wessex, Morgan, connal, chuggy, this tells me that the money given to the management can’t get players in that have experience at this level. How would you like to go to a new job, have to get a load of staff in on low money that are not good enough for the job and then people calling for you to get that sack when it’s your employers fault in the first place?

Looking for new players My opinion for what it’s worth would be get someone who can control the ball and pass it to a teammate and not punt it anywhere Wimborne are full of enthusiasm but that’s not enough
