The following was posted on Larkhall's website yesterday about the change of first team manager (Thurs 25/11):
The Larks are delighted to announce the appointment of Ollie Price as Club manager following the departure of Phil Bater, who has decided to leave. Phil has been a tremendously popular and successful manager for the Larks and will be sorely missed, but he is always welcome back at the Club.
Ollie is an ex Larks player; previously the manager of Mangotsfield United, he has great knowledge and experience of Southern League and local football. Ollie will be assisted by Tom Warren, Rob York and Chelsie Hextall. Ollie inherits a squad of players that have shown great commitment to the Club for a number of seasons and will form the nucleus of our future aspirations to further consolidate our position at this level and strive for development and promotion. The Club believe that Ollie has the vision, enthusiasm, contacts and the personality to be a success for the Club and we look forward to working with him on achieving this aspiration.
