Does anybody know why the club website has nothing about the Academy or the Women’s teams fixture lists?
As a photographer I am quite often looking for something to shoot. I see the Academy game this morning has been called off, had it been on I would have shot the game.
However, I had no idea it was on!

As you can see about my post for weekend football the club is very poor about giving any publicity about any team except the First team. When the first team do not have any football on as has happened this weekend, I thought they might have made some effort to provide fans with details of other teams who represent WTFC playing this weekend.

Yeah, it is a poor show. Regardless of what the first team are doing surely the club need to advertise other teams in the family. The Academy is something they have tried to get off the ground for years and I would think they need all the promotion they can get. Also the Women’s team, nationally there is a big push to promote the women’s game and the club website have absolutely nothing on it. Poole Borough do more to promote their Women’s team than Wim. It’s a shame. |
