Anyone know why the game against Poole is off next week?

Based on their social media post, stating they will be fulfilling a league match away at Winchester City, I’m assuming they are withdrawing. Can’t blame them, it’s the competition that nobody can be arsed to be in.
The timing seems strange though, given that they’ve waited for the fixture to be scheduled.
Another announcement is promised but it looks like plugging their TikTok page takes priority 🤣

Statement from WTFC:-
Poole Town have announced their withdrawal from this seasons Dorset Senior Cup.
We were drawn to play the Dolphins in the first round, with the fixture due to take place on Tuesday 8th October at the Wyatt Homes Stadium. Instead we have now received a bye to the next round, with the date and opposition to be confirmed.
Our apologies to anyone who has bought tickets, please contact the club for a refund.
