I'm starting to wonder if the draws a fix. Poole again. Every year.

No first team player should be anywhere near to this game, the team for this game should be made up of players from the reserves and dual signed players from Christchurch.
The sooner we go out of this competition the better, the Dorset FA really need to rethink this Micky Mouse cup and come up with a better solution, the current format is no longer compatible with the modern non league game.

I believe Poole also have the same thoughts, but one issue you can’t play all reserve players etc as if entered in the Trophy ( Res comp)they can’t play in both effectively making them cup tied!!

And I think there are restrictions on playing in DPL games immediately after playing for the First Team. Could be John Macey in goal, Chris Senior in defence, Jimmy Glass in midfield, and Tim Sills up front.

Maybe just withdraw from the Cup and pay the fine!? 🤔

Might not seem so bad if the Dorset clubs who are affiliated to Hampshire were in the competition. i.e. Poppies , Christchurch and AFCB [ usually their Academy Squad] Bournemouth and Christchurch were put into Dorset in 1974. That was 50 years ago - its ridiculous those clubs are still in the Hampshire competition.

I have just read in the Non League Paper thet Farnborough are in dispute with the Hampshire FA about their participation in the Hampshire Senior Cup. This sason they fielded a team with just 2 first team players plus their goal keeping coach, with the remainder of the side being made up of supporters. They lost the tie 14-0 to Tadley Caleva but an idea for Wimborne to follow perhaps. Anyone on here got a pair of boots and up for a game?
