That's what happens at this level. First 20 should have been in front. Too many mistakes after that. As bad a performance as I Have seen 2nd half for a couple of seasons. Was surprised we didn't get the ball to matty Burrows enough ,surprised he was subbed and thought will was isolated a lot. Tough afternoon.

Poor performance..to slow all over pitch..well beaten by a very good team who took their chances... this is the standard that we will face week in week out... we will need to improve quickly if we are to be competstive in this league... disappointing crowd compared to last years figures..

Walton were a well organised well drilled side I thought their skipper the number 4 ran it for them a very good player, if the one on one had gone in to make it level who knows personally I think they still would have had too much for us and expect them to be in and around the play offs come the end of season, maybe a bit of a wake up call in what has to be fair been a decent start to the season, and with Poole on Monday as tough a game as it is there’s no better way to forget todays result than with a good performance down their

I've got a slightly different take on this match - yes they were organised and clinical but we were all over them before the penalty. We then seemed to lose belief and were eventually well beaten. Had we taken our chances at 0-0 or even 1-0 down who knows how it would've ended. Crowd looked sparse but this time last year we beat Malvern in front of 433 so actually over 20% up on last season so far in the opening two home league matches. Also to address yogi's comment about being competitive, we already are. We have won 2 of our 4 matches and sit one point behind the team in 5th place. Also, Jimmy gets some stick on here sometimes but I thought he handled the post match interviews very well. Nice touch to congratulate the winners and wish them a safe trip back. we haven't always acknowledged visitors in the past and its right to do so. It shows we are graceful in victory or defeat.

With regards to the post match interviews are these going to be posted on social media as they were last season?

We didn't take our chances at Gloucester which probably cost us a point but yesterday was different, yes we shouldn't have gone in behind but that said Walton were the better side and deserved their win
It shows how far we have come but how far we still need to go, Walton took their chances and Joey Jones (ex Eastleigh and Salford) was the outstanding player on the pitch.
We aren't going to roll teams over, this is a hard league with some really good teams. When you lose you learn (hopefully), so its time to dust ourselves off and go again tomorrow.
