I'm not sure if I'm going to make it tomorrow. But I would like to know about the season ticket fiasco. Can you now get a physical ST ? Even AFCB still issue them. Also what has happened to the Ladies Team. Is Poppy still the Manager ?

So to clarify can someone who is attrnding the fans forum in person please ask the following questions.
1.) Season Tickets 2.) The ladies team 3.) The bike park 4.) The increase in match day ticket prices. 5.) The squad looks very thin on the ground at the moment with all the injuries, can we have an update on the injuries and possible new recruits.

Not being funny but if you've got lots of questions why not ask them in person?

Jimmy Glass gave an overview of changes that had happened over the last year that effectively addressed most of Yogi's questions
Season Tickets - Most people seem to have been getting on with the new Fanbase system with over 350 season tickets sold. Actual cards were available for the first game of the season. The idea behind is to make access a lot quicker given the queues witnessed at the Torquay and Frome games last season. Any one having technical issues was advised to see Maria who will help. Ladies Team - Poppy left at the end of last years successful season and Sean Hill has replaced her. No reasons were given for the change and is a matter for the parties involved The Bike Park - the bike park was initially removed to allow the siting of a kit room (lock up) as the new building did not have sufficient rooms for this. As most know it has been replaced in a new position. Dave Webber was particularly thanked for his kind original donation for the cover and also he donated a significant sum for the new racks. Increase in match day tickets - This was not particularly mentioned but I suppose we have seen large inflationary pressure on all of us and the club needs to cover their costs including staff, utility bills etc. Lee Merrifield did mention the pressures of playing budgets and some of the silly amounts some players (not at Wimborne!) are expecting or demanding Injuries - Tim Sills went through the current injuries. Drew has unfortunately damaged his MCL and will be out for a minimum of 2-3 months. Jack Lovell is having an operation to repair his meniscus (in his knee?) on 30 August and will be out for approx 8 weeks. Lewis Beale is hopefully due back to training in a week or so following his injury at Ham Rec. Harry Baker had Covid pin the pre season and has no been diagnosed with bronchitis but is hopeful to be back imminently . Tim was happy with the cover he has with Harvey Wright, Ben Scorey available etc. He has brought in cover up front given the forward injuries/illness. He said the Group has strengthened from last season and are more than capable of competing in this league which i believe we have all seen!
Questions included Youth Team season ticket allocations given parent season tickets had dramatically increased. This was done for fairness of other paying season tickets and not to discourage youngsters attending games which is very important to the club. Jimmy was in listening mode and maybe a new way of encouraging the younger youth players to attend with a parent will be looked at that is fair for all. The sustainability of the club was addressed and everything that is being done is to ensure that the club is on a sustainable footing rather than always relying on some rich benefactor to bail them out. The Stadium has been sponsored by Wyatt Homes and Dave Wyatt has joined the Board.
It was also reiterated that Christchurch and Wimborne are two totally separate clubs run independently from each other. Yes there are some dual signed players but this is normal in non league football.
The new proposed Rugby Club pitches were discussed including if there were any plans for co-operation. Jimmy said there had been some informal discussions including the potential opportunity for some of our other teams to utilise the proposed football pitches being proposed within the Rugby Club development. It is just discussions at the moment.
Hope this helps. Please note this is my recollection of the discussion and not anything official. If my spin is incorrect I apologise in advance!. Jimmy Glass re-iterated that if anyone wanted to know anything just to ask him

Not much of an attendance then. Is this a sign that there isnt too much to gripe about at the moment. Having Jimmy Glass as General Manager does allow fans a direct contact to sort any problems out.He seems amenable and approachable and comes back to supporters quite quickly.
With regard to the Bike Park. I am pleased this has been sorted. Dave did fund the canopy roof when the stadium was originally built. Then, unfortunately, he wasnt told or consulted when it was taken down. Now he has funded the new bike rack units after the old sheffield hoops were built into the tarmac and cut off at ground level. I think the least the club could do is to put up a plaque or somesuch to acknowledge Dave's generosity
