For those still needing a football fix after Saturday's celebration event, according to the DPL website, the reserves are at home to Sherborne at 1:00 PM on bank hoLIday Monday.

Our Reserves beat Blandford 4-2 on Saturday. Sturminster Newton are champions of the DPL, and will be promoted to Step 6 (either Wessex One or, maybe, Western League). If our Reserves beat Sherborne Res on Monday they'll finish 2nd on goal difference above Blandford. They have a League Cup Final against Stur on Saturday.

If Sturminster Newton go into the Western League is there any chance that the reserves can still be promoted to Wessex One?

Don’t think Reserve sides are accepted in in Wessex lge? Not 💯 sure but none appear in current lge? The Wessex League have previously accepted reserve sides (Weymouth) and I believe accepted our application earlier in the season.
