I hope the Wimborne Town players don't own a dog cos' yet again they couldn't hold onto to a lead. They raced into a 2-0 lead after Beale scored in the first minute and Mason scored on 18 minutes. KL got a goal back on 34 mins and just after half time equalised. They then got a man sent off. The Magpies got a pen scored by Beale to make it 3-2 but KL scored in the 89th minute to salvage a draw. A disappointing result for the Magpies who urgently need wins - especially a first win in the league at home is desparately needed.
Another good attendance of 420 especially considering our precarious position
The table at the bottom now reads
19th Dorchester P15 12 pts 20th Merthyr P 14 10 pts 21st Wimborne P13 7 pts 22nd KL P15 7 points
Full report to follow
Other selected results
Gosport 2 Beaconsfield 1 Salisbury 0 Hendon 2 Walton Casuals 2 Poole Town 2 Swindon 1 Dorchester 0

Represented a mid table clash in the Dorset Premier League - poor by any standard ! Good your a bundle of joy, game was played by two team in bad form in a tough league with what I can only assume is low budgets, looking at form goals scored and conceded what where you expecting??

Surely on that basis, we need to be playing in a lower league rather than not competing where we are ?

Might make for a happier club all round !

Merthyr lost, Dorchester lost, Beaconsfield lost and Hartley Whitney lost. We actually got closer to all the teams above us! Gutted by the result today and we should have done the business. We were bossing it in the first half but inexplicably let them get back into the game. I think the Dorchester away game is the next League game - another 6 pointer! I don’t want this team to go down. Irrespective of whether there current form is this League or that League I want them to stay in this division by hook or by crook. Hopefully if we do a lesson is learnt and a sufficient playing budget is afforded to the Managers to push the club forward. Going down shouldn’t be an option- there is no guarantee of getting back up. Let’s all get behind THIS team and get them to sit just above the relegation spots. We are better than our position (in parts) and just need to hold it together for the full 90 mins. There has been spells this season which belies this league position. Gutted today but gained a point

Here's the link to James' post-match comments: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YiMwBSS2u8Paula tells me that the matchday programme sold out - thank you to everyone who bought one. And special thanks to James Aldham who pulls all the content together, makes it look good, and prints the programmes. Attached is my report of the game which should be posted on the club's website later today, and which I've sent to The Daily Echo: Attachment Deleted[Note from Admin - You have to be logged in to read/see attachments]

Take yesterdays programme page 4 Club Line Up, at top of page Wimborne is spelt Wimbonre Town FC. On page 20, the header is in the same style font but is spelt correctly. OK, its a minor matter compared with other things going on but if you cant spell the name of the firm who's paying you........

100% a game we should of won and it was there for the taking. For me the squad is only 3 quality players short of where it needs to be, but where we get those players from is anyone's guess!

That's a terrific spot by eiaddio of the spelling typo in the programme - make yourself known at a home game and I'll buy you a cup of tea. It makes me wonder whether you've recently read: "Improve your proof-reading" by Seymour Mistakes

It makes me wonder whether you've recently read: "Improve your proof-reading" by Seymour Mistakes I noticed Tony called our head steward kevin Jones which is a bit random.perhaps he was thinking of dear old kev hart.
