I thought you'd be interested in the stats about James' record as Wimborne Manager in FA competitions (Cup and Trophy) last season and this:
Played 9 games, won 7 - that's a 78% win record
Prize money won £25,769.

That's an impressive win ratio, However, how many of those games have been against lower league opposition?
Would also we great if that win ratio was mirrored in league form and the money won invested back into the team.

I think Yogi's question is a reasonable one. I know it's an obvious statement, but you can only play the teams you're drawn against. First let me take you back a couple of seasons: 2017-18 - FA Cup: we drew at Andover (Wessex Prem) before losing the replay at Cuthbury; FA Trophy: we beat North Leigh away before losing 5-0 at Thame - both same level as us. Played 3 won 1. 2018-19 - FA Cup: we beat Newport (Wessex) at Cuthbury, then drew with Dorch at home before losing the replay; FA Trophy: lost at Basingstoke. Played 3 won 1. 2019-20 - FA Cup: lost at Truro; FA Trophy: we drew at home with Taunton before losing the replay. Played 2 won 0. In those three season we played 8 and won 2.
2020-21 - FA Cup; we beat Portchester (Wessex) home; Barnstaple (SL Div one) away; Melksham (SL Div One) home; Maidstone (Nat South) home; before losing to Boreham Wood (Nat) away. 2021-22 - FA Cup: we beat Blackfield (Wessex) away; Basingstoke (Isthmian One) away; lost at Hampton & Richmond (Nat South); FA Trophy: we beat Thame (SL Div One Central) away. In this and last season the only FA competition games we've lost have been against higher league teams. Four of the seven victories have been away.

Yogi, you do make me laugh. Maybe you should change your forum name to Mr Negative. I've never seen you post one positive thing. You're a poison to the club.

Jesus dude, you and your negative views was partly the reason the official WTFC forum was taken down, please wind your neck in and move on .

Just to update the figures for last season and this after yesterday's FA Trophy win at Weston: Prize money (in FA competitions) won: £28,769. 10 games played, 8 won - that's an 80% win record. In the FA Trophy 2nd Round the winners will receive £3750, the losers £1000.
