Ok... I take your views on board... You finished your last post by stating that there are more cost effective ways to generate revenue quickly... are you prepared to share these ideas so that we maybe able to put them into practice for the good of the club..

Simply Yogi no, sorry, it's not rocket science just needs doing.  The way I was treated after what I had done for the club, the money I had put in for equipment and other things, I just feel hurt. Yes, I have strong opinions but at times strong opinions need to be aired and not stifled. It really is a shame, I loved the place but new people have come in, run it the way they want to, which is rightly their prerogative and I now leave them to it. I would love to think, maybe one day I'll be back to shoot a game but I can't see that happening any time soon. Hey ho.  |

Your reasons for no longer wanting to be involve sadden and disappointment me as I can see that you still care passionately about the club and I am sure you have valuable experience, knowledge and contacts that could be very valuable to the club, unfortunately as you say the current BOD have a very blinkered view on how they wish to operate and don't appear to be for turning..
It's great to be able to share views and opinions on this site and even if we don't always agree with each other, the one thing that we can all agree on is that we care for OUR football club..

Could somebody also ask about the quality of the hot food available to purchase on matchdays.
At the 'old' Cuthbury, we had the BBQ which was the envy of the league! There was always a queue, the quality of food was brilliant and it must of made a profit with how busy it was. Burgers, Chips, Hot Dogs, Bacon etc, the choice was superb. I could be wrong, but i believe the meat came from a local butchers?
We offer no chips & no burgers? Why? The best we can do now is a terrible processed hot dog or a microwaved Sausage Roll?

Yeah.they were sold some awful hot dogs by some company or other.im vegetarian so none of the offerings appeal but do know the old offerings were highly rated.sadly I guess the old supplier passing away and getting the volunteers to run it is the problem. It doesn't need saying as we all know but the tea ladies are amazing and a valuable asset to the club.

This is no reflection on the wonderful tea ladies. They were there at the 'old' Cuthbury still doing an amazing job alongside the BBQ.
It was more a reflection on what seems to of been another downgrade.
