I put the video together and produced the poster you refer to. In my opinion, he was an integral part of that season, so deserves to be recognised for it. Would you prefer it if I wiped that from history or would that generate a complaint as well?

If it was yourself Tony, that decided to use the photo of Luke I cant fault you. Did the BoD realise it was going to be used? I was a great fan of Luke and didnt agree with the BoD banning him. He was on the autistic spectrum [ as he told the old forum himself so I'm not imparting private info] so needed to be understood and handled accordingly. I've worked with autistic adults in the past so I know. Unless you have worked with them you can't possibly understand their actions. Did the board speak to his family or his support helper. I should imagine Luke was shocked by the ban and it could have set him back years in terms of integrating into society.
I found this quote on the mind.org website from an autistic person which I feel is very helpful in understanding them
"The hardest thing about living with autism and bipolar is that most people remember me by my meltdowns rather than what I’m good at. It upsets me because I’m more than a person with problems and I wish people will just see that."
Luke has already had a lot of support on this Forum. If he had been with us today I know he would have organised some great vocal support behind the goal which we urgently need.
So if the BoD have approved his photo I would applaud that and ask why did they ban him in the first place. Is that an admission that they were wrong in banning him. I hope so. Luke was an integral part of every season he was supporting us. All genuine fans miss him.

Well said minstermann. I miss luke around the place a lot. We are not party to the whole social media row but I do know quite a lot of what went on with luke as I spoke to him frequently online and in person.one of the main drivers of aspbergers is social interactions being handled in a different way sometimes and a focus on stuff we wouldn't expect. Not sure any of this was considered. Him and his crew are a big loss to the club. I would hope one day he will be back. IMHO Luke needs to be part of the film because as Tony said he was an integral part of that season. It was this season that I met him and indeed would give him lifts to away games if possible. He was indeed a vocal element that is sorely missed and attracted further vocal support which is needed. I repeat my previous comments that an atmosphere should not be down to Luke alone and we should all do our part when attending games. Luke has passed the flags etc on to be used as I’m sure he didn’t want the atmosphere to die. In the interests of fairness however I’m not sure he was banned. His Twitter account was blocked (there seems to be a trend evolving here) which upset him and has caused him to go elsewhere. This is a shame and I have spoken to him about it. I am sure one day he will return. If I am wrong about this I am happy to be put right. On the issue of blocking people on Twitter I believe this is completely unproductive and more damaging. I’m not sure Social Media is fully understood by WTFC. It should be embraced including criticism as this gives you the opportunity to listen to your customers and change. Blocking people is not the answer. Listening online tonight and the lights have gone off 🤦♂️Hope we get the game finished before the curfew! Sounds like we are playing ok so 🤞for 3 points!
