Of course they have...this is what they do if anyone dares to criticise or question them.
They are a dictatorship operating under the disguise of a BOD.

Pathetic really. You'd think they would want to work with the fans - not isolate them.

I've been lurking for a bit and feel it is now time to say hello. I too was blocked by the club on Twitter in September last year. COVID regulations were being relaxed with a view to easing Lockdown restrictions and I had found out, from a player there was a friendly at Cuthbury against Christchurch. Up I rocked to photograph the game and was greeted by the doorman saying it was a behind closed door game, no spectators, nobody was allowed in. I was not happy, not angry just a tad hacked off as I had wasted time and missed the chance to go to another game. I went home and posted on Twitter that I felt the club could/should have put on social media, a simple message saying the game was being played behind closed doors, that is all. I was told by the doorman, many had turned up and were extremely annoyed it wasn't advertised as a closed game. Anyway, somebody, a young person who will remain nameless started having a pop at me, saying I should do this I should do that, I didn't know what I was doing blah blah blah. He had no idea of how many years I had been associated with the club, my relationship, the fact I had been told I could turn up at any game whenever to photograph the game. He knew nothing but carried on with a tirade of abuse and talking total garbage. During all this I had support on Twitter from FOUR other local football clubs backing me up on my view. I got fed up with his childishness and blocked him. The following morning I went on Twitter and found the CLUB had blocked me from their Twitter. Okay, fine. I emailed them saying it is their choice to do that and their prerogative, no problems with that. I said I also have choices and that I will not photograph any of their games in the future, that was FOC by the way. Also, if they ever use any of my images for whatever reason I will invoice them and invoice them I will! Before you ask, no I didn't get a reply!! Through them blocking me for next to nothing it has effected them a lot. My mate Steve does the photography but due to work commitments can't get to evening games ............ I could but I don't!! They are just so defensive and petrified of anybody criticising them, it was so petty. All they had to do was issue a one sentence statement ...... Sorry everybody but the game today against Christchurch is a behind closed, no spectators. How simple is that? Hey ho!

Hi Silver - sorry to hear that WTFC have blocked you from their twitter account. So childish and so unprofessional. How many others have been blocked. I've never known a club to have been so arrogant with their supporters. I've heard so many stories of people getting no reply when they have asked a question. Thank goodness for this Forum where we can let people know what's going on.
Certain members of the BoD and those running the club at present, have got to realise they are only guardians of the club for a limited time, and that supporters are the lifeline of a football club. They quarrel with fans at their peril. Engendering a totalitarian regime is not the way to go about it. Their social skills are poor and they have an exagerated sense of their own importance and abilities. They have to remember they are living in a Democracy and as such should treat fans accordingly. They are just stirring up touble for themselves and need to construct a dialogue with fans.
I can't seem to work out why they are running scared and spoiling for a fight with fans when they should be working with us for the benefit of the club as a whole. Instead of be-littleing fans they should be explaining and apologising. Something needs to be done to clear the air.

The way Luke C was treated was horrendous, poor lad, he gave everything to the club, all the flags, the support, the promoting of the club away from the club he loved it. They seem to have a way of hurting the ones nearest to them, the ones who care the most, who do the most! Quite bizarre.

What they dont seem to realise is that the few who voice an opinion on here are not just negative moaners.there are many good ideas but voiced in the knowledge that we know they will never happen. I think the main thing they dont seem to realise is that the frustration shown on here is not out of step from what is heard around the ground,it is entirely typical.if we didnt care we wouldnt post.
